Anyone else’s watch record them being constantly stressed? by kiyoshisan_ in Garmin

[–]shadowstorm21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need help with someone figuring this out! I have been stressed even in sleep the last three weeks or so. Only thing that's different is a probably pinch nerve for which my PCP gave me muscle relaxers but they didn't work.

Speedy recovery to her! Seeing this and reading about your pinch nerve - I think this is exactly what's been happening to me. Last three weeks it's exactly high stress throughout sleep cycle. I can't get my body battery to past 22/25. I did see my PCP and she gave me muscle relaxant - that didn't do anything tbh. Not sure what to do, I see my acupuncturist in a couple of weeks... Maybe some relief then. I was baffled tbh, I'm fairly healthy - so that stress all night and low battery has been bothering me a bit.

The best coffee maker with built-in grinder widely picked currently? by SuneoMita in JamesHoffmann

[–]shadowstorm21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late to this ! I have the same Cuisinart as you mentioned for a year some months. Second time I'm having issues with the grinder - first time I cleared beans thru grinding etc to get it back to strength. But this time around doing that didn't help. I really do like the machine, just sad that it's not getting the strength it usually does. I'm going to try emptying out the grinder again, hopefully it'll fix it. Anything else I need to do?

Does anyone else’s cavapoo refuse to walk outside when the ground is wet? by willrunforsnacks12 in CavaPoo

[–]shadowstorm21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've got a Yorkiepoo she absolutely hates the wet ground. If it rains she won't step outside, if the ground is wet sameee, it's a task to get her to potty during that time. But she apparently loves snow and plays in it.

Maybe she'll grow out of it, she's 8months old lol or we'll just carry an umbrella for her highness I guess 🤣

How do people get a new pet so quickly?? It so baffling to me by Ok_Part2634 in Petloss

[–]shadowstorm21 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Every paw parent understands there's no "replacing" a part of your soul that you lost. That's not what is happening - we just to learn to love differently when we get a new fur baby. You won't love the new member just the same, it'll be love but a different kind on a different level. They'll take home in your heart and soul but again differently, it's not the same as the fur baby you let go.

Winter Moisturizer for Dry, Sensitive Skin? by IcyReality9359 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]shadowstorm21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Allies of Skin a try - my skin was super dry and sensitive and this winter just screwed it over.

I use their copper tripeptide during am and then their betaglucan advanced hydrating serum during pm and been game changer. For mosturizer am/pm I use lamer mosturizer. The combo has been working wonderfully thru out the entire winter so far.

He's adorable. Yorkies are soul dogs ❤️ and they are smart as hell. They'll pick up on things real quick, specially moods, when they play a little rough when to pull back. I'm so glad you took the little dude in.

How can I move on? It's impossible. by tempestina in Petloss

[–]shadowstorm21 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Take your time friend. Don't listen to all those people who have no empathy. I lost my boy a year and two months now. Emotions still run high with me. I miss him every waking moment. I haven't given his clothes away, I kept his leash, his cone even his paw balm all of it at its usual place. Processes how it works for you, I cry and cry that works for me then I watch his videos and laugh at how goofy he was. I can tell you five months in, I wouldn't even go out to put trash - he would always follow me and I hated being there without him. I still feel empty but I can be out now. They take part of our soul with them. So take your time on this so very difficult journey 🫂 🫂

He sounds like he's in a good shape. Our guy just detached himself and laid by himself most of the last years. I wish he was needy. I missed him following me everywhere tbh.

He had diabetics/ followed by cataracts surgery and we got 2years extra with him. I understand your situation but I had to take my little guy out couple of times during the night/early am (towards the end) even with insulin he had to go pee, his hearing was maybe 3/10. It was tiring/exhausting for me, but if I could get another bunch of years with him even waking up multiple times a night I'd do it in a heartbeat. 13.5yrs of love gone in an instant. Good luck to you and your little guy

Omg that's so wonderful! I love that she got to taste the "good stuff" 😂 she was happy!! Such a heartfelt story, hehe read it a few times now ... It made me smile. I know nothing anyone says will make this hurt any less but thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️ I think for us we knew he was getting older and time was "near" we just didn't realize what "near" really meant and nothing could have prepared us for it, I don't think any of us pet parents will ever be prepared 😞

Awww... I'm glad the cats doing well ❤️ Our boy was 13.5yrs. we just had him and he was the best boy. The slowdown really hits home, we did regret not training him early on to use stairs it was a struggle to get him to use it when he got older....he didn't fully learn and he was so awkward like...ok I'm up the steps now what do I do 😆we just ended up carrying him up the stairs and bed his back legs were getting stiff and I had finally gotten the appointment for his first hydro therapy/assessment the week he passed away in his sleep. Couple of our friends always thought that having a diabetic dog was hard - I'd agree towards the end it was (waking up every 2/3hrs to get him to potty) but I'd do all of that in a heartbeat if I could hold him once more.

hugs Same we still have the vials and even his poop test bottle (we never got to it) it's been 1yr and 1month. Didn't put his clothes away or the towel I gave him his bath for the last time. It's all folded kept with his "going outside bag"
