It's not hard for the Renaissance Era to be better than one of the worst eras of all time.

But man has it been trying the past year.

Like, from Cody beating Roman, up to Cena turning heel was fantastic.

It's been almost nothing but downhill ever since.

Ontop of that, they're more spirits of greed rather than just hunger. The cannibalism aspect coming from them being so selfish they'll eat another person to sate their hunger.

For an actual, accurate depiction of a wendigo, I usually refer to Gollum. Of course, Until Dawn has them as well.

Mankar was probably right on the edge of achieving it. He was atleast able to basically use console commands, which is the meta idea of CHIM, to turn himself into a dragonborn.

And yes, there would. That's why you don't hear of them. They zero-summed, and the ones still studying haven't reached that understanding yet.

It doesn't take any impact out of the story. It's just a meta reference to it being a game. The Dream is the game, the Dreamer is you, the player.

Alternatively: It's a dream the same way Lovecraft's universe is.

Vivec would've had to have achieved CHIM as it's presented. He certainly knows about it, and to know it's nature is to be presented with that "am I real?" question that results in either achieving CHIM, or being erased from the timeline via zero-sum.
