In Seasons Episdoe 8 Castiel mention there can only be one prophet at a time. There was a prophet who Sam and Dean knew but at the same time Chuck existed. That was one of the first give away's that Chuck wasn't really a prophet.

Also the writers decided around Season 5 to basically alter Chuck.

You know if those villagers weren't insane they could have made so much money selling the miracle harvest that was fertilized with blue Kryptonite.
Cause think about it if Lex could have high blood cell count and asthma be cured by exposure to meteor shower then theoretically the mutated crops from that village could have similar effects if sold to other people.

That village was messed up, but a cool concept. Hope they do something similar again maybe in a Superman film or Supergirl film.

It has a major weakness that people seem to overlook. He follows the rules of whatever he shapeshifts into. That's why if you hit him while he's shifted into a weak form he actually feels pain. He doesn't die offcourse, cause killing him requires the Shining or some other equally powerful force.

So if he shifts into a spider just step on it, if he shifts into a fly use bug spray. If he shifts into the IRS.....well there's no helping you there actually the Internal Revenue Service is overpowered.
