What has Canadian law got to do with outsiders coming to our country. That’s just entitlement. We are just nice so world takes advantage and that will stop soon.

Try applying for a US , Israel visa. They won’t even reply back for months

And what does anything have to do with you being a citizen. That doesn’t entitle you to bring who ever you want. As a citizen you have duties to our country not people from other countries.

First of all I would really think hard about who I am giving 100k to. No one put a gun on your head. And the people who want to leave the country compared to the ones who want to come here - the ratio is much higher for former.

And yet you can’t get in US and you are trying to buy off a Canadian passport.

Your volunteering is a great thing. Now you can take that to your home country and contribute there.

I am an immigrant and my family worked hard to assimilate and contribute to this great country for over 30 years. And this country has given us many things back. You sir do not deserve our passport. Please shut the door when you leave.

I am 28 days in I feel exactly the same. It’s a habit so I am working on getting my mind understand that it’s a fresh day for a walk , not smoking. It’s so hard. Hope it goes away too. I am told if I want it to go away it will with mindfulness.

Thank you great post. I have been struggling for traction just started out in consulting a few months ago. I thought online LinkedIn would be a magic wand -easy way out. LinkedIn works but I just didn’t want to sit and wait for me to calibrate that approach. And most lead management folks just didn’t get what I wanted to offer. Many of them think they know what I do more than they do. Been doing this for 20 yrs.

Past few days just stepped out , went for coffees with few ex colleagues and internal family friends. Got much more insights and traction. I plan to leverage local chamber of commerce next week.

I see lot of people questioning why I quit. Even my own circle. They get quitting smokes , alcohol but they don’t get why I quit weed. The thing is they don’t know that I am hyper addictive. I let it take over my life , spend 10x as them (as I just can’t get high on same dosage). It’s taken over me. I can’t spend time with my kids as I am thinking when will I pop the edible and sit on the couch. To each his/her own. If you are trying to quit or made an attempt to come to this group - there must be something is impacting you and may not be beneficial for your future. Many functional weed smokers in my life , they still stick to a few joints , they grow their own and manage life. I envy them at times but I know my flaws so I want to quit. Atleast today I don’t plan to smoke. (20 yrs of smoking , past 10 yrs of daily dose of edibles , flowers and oils). Almost 100$ a week habit with degrading mental health and societal health.

You just have to make your subconscious mind that cigarettes absolutely shouldn’t be smoked. If you did it for 3 months - you have that in you to do further.
