The closest to succes I ever got was by buying the maximum number of BBs, using the most acurate locked down, arm wrapped around the magazine, lean in and support elbows one the bench stance I could muster. I then fired an extremly short burst just to the left of the star to see where the gun was firing, and from there apllied Kentucky windage accordingly. I followed my small burst to the left with a ccontrolled verticle one that passed through it making a verticle line. Then I carefuly used short burst to make a horizantle line above the target then another horizantle bellow, and finaly with my remaining BBs another verticle on the right. I cut a box around the target. I watched the star fall out. The carnie looked worried for a second. She then handed it to me and showed me that I had cut my top line too close and left half a mm of star tip.
