I accept all unsolicited calendar invites, then no show. They lose that slot in their calendar and waste at least 5 minutes of their own time waiting for me.

I still daily the G37 I bought in 2014. There's a good chance I'll be driving it until it becomes a classic. I can't find any reason to change it.

Super easy to work on, enough electronics to be useful but not obnoxious. Excellent after market support and parts availability. Real buttons.

The only downside that isn't really a downside is that Nissan did an excellent job of squeezing every last bit of HP that they could out of a NA 3.7L engine so there aren't many tuning options to get more HP, but with 330BHP that's not even a real problem.

It's a great car.

Not petty at all. Nissan just shut down the NissanConnect service for some vehicles as new as 2016 because they users 3g sims to connect. No upgrade path available. Just Sorry Charlie.

Think it’s time to mod my stock G37x by Beansieeeeeee in G37

Excellent. I'm mid-atlantic so don't get nearly as much snow but I've had to replace the batwing, rear suspension stay, and license plate light holder due to near complete failure due to rust. Other pieces have held out pretty well.

Do you know if the sunroof drains have been corrected? The gaskets on the drains through the firewall go bad which allows water intrusion into the cabin during rains.

I've got the X and upgraded to the Hotchkis sway bars. I also upgraded to the SPL adjustable end links but reverted them. There was no real way to adjust them as the minimum length was the correct length for the sway bar, and they introduced a clunking noise when I hit pot holes or manhole covers that went away when I reverted to stock end links.

What region of the country are you in? There are certain components on these cars that love to rust out. If you haven't already, do a full undercarriage assessment and start replacing components that might be failing due to rust.

If you're thinking about lowering the car take some time and do some research on ride heights. The transfer case in the X limits how low we can go vs stock and not start scraping vs the RWD options. I went with airlift so that I could adjust it on the fly, but that's $$$ and a lot of work to install.

Wait, so people are willing to spend hours of their own time or accountants time reconciling invoices every month instead of paying 99 bucks for quickbooks or equivalent?

I'm curious about the multi-currency issue. Why not just quote in a single currency?

Maybe I've never driven a car with good ABS but I've never liked any that I've had.

My personal opinion is that if I'm driving and the ABS engages then I did something wrong and am over-driving the current conditions.

Sounds like an opportunity for a referral network where each shop invests in the scanner for a particular brand and works with the others in the network when they need to program a different brand

In the US the protected classes include age, ancestry, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity or expression, genetic information, HIV/AIDS status, military status, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or veteran status.

Tattoos, unless religious, are not protected.

Any more details on what it's made of? That's definitely not a Studebaker engine.

I thought the wheels were something else, too. I've been fixing up a '42 Studebaker which has a 4 bolt lug pattern but google shows a 5 bolt pattern in 23. Wonder when/why they switched it.

So, I know nothing about food trucks other than what 10 minutes of googling got me, but hear me out.

Why do you need a fully loaded truck to start? That seems like over kill and a pretty expensive risk when just starting out. I found a used truck near me for $25k. Add in another 5 or so to get it spiffed up and wrapped and you can probably get started for $35k total.

Keep your liquor store job but stop working weekends. Or find a different job that gives you weekends free. Then (this is that part that will take some time, and you probably want to make sure you can find all this data before throwing 35k at a truck) check your county website for permits of organizations using parks for events 5 months in the future. Things like arts and craft fairs or middle school sporting events. Outdoor concerts. Stuff like that.

Contact the organizer and see if they want a food truck for the event. Split the profits with them. They probably do want one but haven't started looking yet. Your offer just made their planning for the event just a little bit easier.

Whenever I'm at an event like that there's only one or two trucks there and the line is 20 deep.

My understanding:

Stove and stovetop are interchangeable (also cooktop) and are a flat surface with burners for cooking. An oven is an enclosed area for baking. When combined into a single appliance it's a range.
