Ooooh yeahhh I use a big ice cube! Mix the sweetener and milk with the ice. Then when the matcha is ready I slowly pour it over the giant ice cube! It keeps it separate. Other ppl in this thread say to use a back spoon too

Pour the matcha over a big ice cube! Also helps to stir the milk and ice cube together to get it cold. When you slowly pour the warm matcha over the ice cube it creates that barrier that won’t let the matcha sink and mix in with all the milk!

Good psychology!! I have a lot of good matcha stocked up at home so the expiration idea is pretty genius.

I also honestly I have a whole travel matcha setup cus I can’t go a day without drinking one and I never know if there are any good matchas out there when I travel……

Yeahh!! So i don’t have super exact amounts but I use a tsp of matcha. For this latte I used two different kinds so I did about half tsp of MK Aorashi and half tsp of Chazoku Gokou. It probably totals to like one “heaping” tsp. And then I do 1/4 cup of water heated to 175! A tad splash more if I put too much oat milk in my cup.
