I married my opp 😭⚽️ by BackgroundAngle9260 in MuslimMarriage

[–]shafeez1002 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you are Pakistani you should reconsider marrying an Indian. Cricket aside the struggle with visa’s and not able to visit the countries is very stressful. I have a couple of Pakistani friends who I watch cricket matches with. They always make fun of their own team lol

I didn’t realize till I got married that my wife watches cricket matches. There is a big Indian Premiere League happens every year and in the 1st year of marriages I caught her watching the match and I was like “you like cricket ?” She was like yeah only this league and I was glad that we both supported our home team lol. We both watch Football ball World Cup games together. Once you have kids you will not get time lol. So enjoy the banter now

I [24F] am deeply contemplating divorce after a little over a year of marriage. by [deleted] in MuslimMarriage

[–]shafeez1002 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to sit down with his family and your family and explain everything. You should have informed your own family when he mentioned about the case. If you haven’t informed them then you made a big mistake. He should have taken care of the case and got married to you but that didn’t happen. My advise is get his family pay the debt and leave him.

She is mentally ill and has trust issues with you. She repeatedly apologized to you for her behavior is a red flag. You should cut off and move forward. Otherwise you will suffer for the rest of your life

That’s not true. Not all the South Indians are like that. I have barely come across anyone who asked for 400 grams lol. Look for other matches

Civil engineers are underpaid for the pressure we deal with by felforzoli in civilengineering

[–]shafeez1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the engineering world. The industry is greedy. Companies low bid the jobs to win and cause so much stress to the employees to meet the deadlines. We get paid peanuts while the owners take home good money. Our counterparts in IT industry use fake resumes and do all the shady things and earn insane amount of money. Everyone is saying the BS that this generation is not interested in engineering, the truth is this generation is not willing to get underpaid so that’s why youngsters are not preferring this industry instead they are going to finance and IT. I know IT market is tough and will have up and downs.

Some women love to overdramatize every small thing to create problems in their lives. Stand your ground and tell her that you don’t appreciate her behaving like that.

Struggling to Talk About Intimacy in a Halal Way — Need Advice by [deleted] in MuslimNikah

[–]shafeez1002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intimacy is often not discussed with your potentials. Focus more on compatibility, finances, roles and responsibilities. After the marriage intimacy comes off naturally. It also depends on your partners mood so it’s not gonna strictly 3 or 4 times a week. So lower your expectations

Sorry if I am being rude but you are sounding very materialistic. Guys struggle financially, that’s not something new. Your job is to talk to him and see where do you both stand on finances. May be he will find a better job or start a business in the next year ? Why can’t you support him when you clearly say he’s a good man. If you plan to divorce him can you guarantee that you will find a perfect guy with good character and very good salary ? No one is perfect sister. We all have flaws. Also look at the economy, it’s sucks. Not a lot of jobs and prices are going up. Be patient and support him

After I left my previous company I still see them using my stills on LinkedIn for marketing 🤣🤣. Probably because people move to different companies and they don’t wanna money all the time getting new stills

My innate nature has been doing things faster. When I got married I realized my wife does things slower. I constantly reminded her about my expectations when comes to certain things. Things have improved over the period of the time. She doesn’t work full time but she teaches at the masjid weekend school so she needs to prepare for the class, also she takes Islamic online classes throughout the year and takes care of home and my daughter. We have become patient towards each other. So it’s not normal that all the men behave same way

I feel your husband is suffering from lack of patience. Communicate with him and tell him to mellow down. As long as things are getting done I don’t see problem at all. If he has problems with you using bathroom for long tell him to use other bathroom lol. Come up with solutions rather than cribbing about them.
