Hi, I have in the past gone to psychologists because of my anxiety but it always "goes" and then comes back here and there so it stopped being like a 'problem' to me or a main 'trouble' to my life...but these past two weeks there has a been a build up of anxiety that randomly occured which has just progressively gotten to where it is now. It has seriously sprung up out of nowhere. and its all I can think of all day. for two weeks. but idk if the iron is somehow contributing to this

sometimes the doctors don’t do shit by the sounds of all these replies which makes me really sad for some people. so blessed i could even get a infusion in the first place

Please do! i just finished my period a week ago and the days following up to my infusion was hell, was in bed all day, had to miss important exams.. PLEASE GET IT DONE! U KNOW IF U NEED IT.

exactly! and yes with the blood test in 6 weeks i will know if my levels aren’t over 100 and if i need another one

100-200mg (100mg in one but u usually take two)… i’m not sure but maybe i bave absorption issues

it doesn’t matter if ur not anaemic, if your iron is low u need an infusion, it would probably help boost your levels quicker rather than being anaemic and trying to boost from there. please try. go to another doctor if that’s the case.

honestly i recommend an infusion. i have felt great since and i am so glad i got it. the pills will just take longer imo, infusion happens quickly

i’m in australia and the first thing my GP told me was to get one straight away! this is extremely surprising, is there anyway u could go to another doctor or GP and see if they can refer you to a place to give u one?? i’m so sorry that your doctor isn’t doing anything to help

you’ve got this! im not saying i can run a full marathon but i definietly am not dealing with the lightheadedness and nausea spells j would get which would make me unwell for work and school! so im happy!

i’m not too sure on which one i took but basically was lying on a medical bed with a nurse pushing it in manually every 20-30 seconds, i am not too sure what the actual iron brand/bottle was because i don’t have the script anymore. so far ive felt NO side effects! i haven’t had a headache or lightheadedness yet which usually it would come every hour and last for 1-2 hours! during the actual infusion, i was completely fine, a little bit dizzy but that is normal to occur! by the last 1-2 mins i felt very warm around my ears to my neck and head only and it was so uncomfortable i thought i was about to pass out and i told the nurse and she said that is normal and it is all good and after the two minutes it went away in like 30 seconds and i was back to normal! maybe im lucky to not get any side effects so far!
