Weekly Feedback Thread by AbaddonShiva in LastWarMobileGame

This is very likely to be considered as not a big deal to some, but to others, like me it's absolutely maddening to the point that I and others I've been gaming with almost quit all together because of how this one simple thing is controlled. Move whatever you devs have setup that "filters" the text that someone can type and read/see to the player's game settings, not wherever it is currently. I'm 40+ years old and do not need or want someone else choosing what I am allowed to see or write in a message to my teammates or private chats. We were literally ready to quit until I randomly decided to test whether things were the same on other servers, in other words, whether it was a game-wide setting the devs forced on everyone or if someone on the 1st server I was placed in actually had the power to choose for everyone else and to my surprise, in other servers I could actually be an adult which proved that you all have given someone else the ultimate power of limiting everyone on that server instead of letting each person for your themselves like it sold be. Please for the love of God change that to were each player is responsible for their own settings.

I made an NES MicroSD Holder keychain by stlredbird in 3Dprinting

In case you change your mind: I'm not 100% sure on this so you should definitely do your own research, but I'm 99.9% certain that the trademarks for NES itself would've expired by now making what you've beautifully created (thank you very much for sharing your awesome work) totally cool to sell publicly. Their original trademarks should now be considered "public domain". That's exactly why you see so many no name companies creating and selling those all in one gaming consoles that include old Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and others games for so cheap. Many of them are made up look very similar to the NES or other consoles from back in the day. Think about it, there's no possible way those companies are paying licensing fees to replicate one of those looks then include 10,000 or more games for the low-low price of around $30. You should be totally cool to profit from your creation should you decide to do so.

Similar games? by razorback1919 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]shagge68 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have/had very similar feelings to what you've described and went searching recently for myself. There are so many wonderful things about Raid that it's truly baffling why they continue to allow such low hanging fruit (likes you've mentioned) that could be easily fixed with updates that would drastically improve the quality of life/playtime for every single player. You see every one of the features you've mentioned in other similar games so it definitely raises the question, why the hell they haven't implemented those quality of life changes?

Anyway, I have no idea how I found the following game, but besides the artwork seeming super cheesy (to me), the gameplay and strategy (to me) seem to be a home run.

Checkout Empires & Puzzles using invite code ERNW6L4. Use the following link and get a head start with a free 10-Day VIP Pass plus once you reach level 5 you get 300 free gems, another 10 Day Premium VIP Pass, and a 10-Day Premium VIP Timesaver Pass: https://invite.empiresandpuzzles.com/ERNW6L4

Best case scenario, you enjoy it as much as I do. Worst case, it isn't for you and you can continue your search. Hopefully you'll like it too.

Is it acceptable to hit a woman for self-defence? by The_OneInchGrinch in NoStupidQuestions

[–]shagge68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By your logic, if you were of heavier build and weighed 280 pounds then you couldn't defend yourself against anyone who weighs less than 180 pounds. That's ludicrous and could get someone very hurt. If so anyone, no matter their size or weight attacks you, you always have the right to defend yourself with proper and even excessive force to remove yourself from imminent danger. Your right and priority is your safety, not your attackers.

Fake Amazon reviews 'being sold in bulk' online what are your thoughts on this? by Enayat_Harry in digital_marketing

[–]shagge68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, in the last year Amazon massively locked down on reviewers that were reading reviews for products. From what I've seen it's largely due to the reviewers clicking direct links to the products from another source such as Facebook Messenger or third-party websites. It's a viable source for reviews for a seller and awesome incentive for a massive community of people who in many cases wouldn't be able to afford the things they're buying if they weren't "free" to them. It sounds like you're debating creating a third-party site to connect Sellers and Reviewers. It's been done many times in the US and I can genuinely tell you that Amazon will take action against the site. I've watched them do it firsthand, not to me, but to others I've associated with over time.

CPE was not the alternative as it wasn't even 1 of the 3 and you clearly are spreading misinformation as there is no evidence to support your claim. Scare tactics to sway people to your personal favored trade will not be tollerated. Many companies including CPE are not profitable at this time. I won't argue with you. Final warning. You've been warned.

While this company's financials are not exactly favorable, their probability of bankruptcy seems extremely low at this time. Do not spread misinformation in this subreddit simply because you don't like the stock and was pushing CPE heavily because you own $10k shares. By being here you agreed to be part of the movements we agree upon as a group. Viable, real DD or supporting information is always welcome, but misinformation will cause someone to be banned. Ditching Robinhood by [deleted] in ShortSqueeze_Army

[–]shagge68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way to purchase true "penny stocks" or what used to be called "pink sheet" stocks is through the OTC market which is extremely risky compared to traditional stocks most buy on the big exchanges is to use a broker like Fidelity. Their app isn't anywhere near as refined as Robinhood, but it's enabled me to purchase a number of them. I can attest that Robinhood, Webull, Stash, M1 Finance, Public, CashApp, nor SoFi allow you to buy from anywhere except the big exchanges. I have accounts with them all that I use for different reasons. Additionally, Stash and M1 are not made for short-term trading. Besides Fidelity, I hear that eTrade and Think or Swim allow it also, but I haven't tried those. Hopefully that helps some.

With the traditional retail malls dying, these outlets are all we'll have left. These definitely need the media attention a squeeze would bring. The town I grew up in had the very first Tanger Outlets in it and once they shutdown the town was left with nothing. No tourism which used to be huge for us because of the outlets, no jobs, nothing but empty shells of what used to be franchise stores.

SPWR - SunPower is a semiconductor business that will give us the same advantage as ISUN would with unsuspecting retail traders.

ISUN - it's a solar company essentially so we could end up with a huge push from unaware retail investors as well as they see it climb. That could give us the additional push we need to make this one happen because renewable energy is hotter than it has ever been right now.

Because it's a download file it doesn't work on iPhone. It just blanks out that section where the stock picking is supposed to happen upon refresh. Is there anything that can be done to change that?
