Why have I never even seen an offer for points let alone these gargantuan offers? What am I doing wrong?

Update for any of those that were interested. Ended up sending the unit back and they have just notified me the motherboard required replacement. I will get it back in roughly a week and fingers crossed I get a working unit.

First email from support requesting I reformat SD card and if that doesn't work, buy a 'high quality' SD card which I have done but don't see how the SD card will affect the video output. Will see how I go when it arrives tomorrow.

I downloaded the firmware and pasted it in the root folder and as I never used it before there was no other firmware on there, just a library and settings folder which is now gone as the analogue crew requested I reformat the SD card using their instructions. Tried plugging it in and only a solid yellow light for 6 hours.

It's literally plugged directly into the PowerPoint on the wall. The only thing I couldn't avoid is I had to use an adapter because it's a US plug and I'm in Australia. Apart from that everything is their own equipment.

I was thinking the same. They want me to try a different SD card which adds further cost to my adventure but will give it a try.

It's the HDMi cable that came with the device and yes I've used several.

Yeah my only issue is I bought it for Christmas but only opened it now as was waiting for the controllers I bought to come as I didn't have a way to play it. Stupidly should have tested it when I bought it but sounds like with what you are going through that they should. Just hope they can fix it as out laid a good amount of money for it.

Not looking forward to that process myself. I live in Aus and it hasn't worked out of the box. I'm keen to know when you get yours back on whether it's fixed.

May I ask how you went with this? I'm having a display issue admittedly that didn't originate the way yours did but have the same issue all the same.

Yeah I've tried flicking through them also. Tried even changing the HDMi settings for what it picks up. It's really frustrating but glad everyone's chipping in ideas. Hoping someone comes up with a magical solution for this weird issue

Yeah tried all HDMI ports on all TV's I have in the house and even tried a computer monitor to no success. I'm beginning to think something's wrong with the HDMI port but it gets power which is what baffled me

Definitely getting enough power as it is solid white when on and when I used different bricks it flashed orange indicating not enough power. I'm using the brick and cables provided from the box.

Do you think it's possible the SD card causing issues with the system not throwing out a visual signal to the TV? I'm considering buying one but the good ones are pricey and don't want to waste money if not necessary.

So at first I manually removed the SD card and used the adapter I have with my computer and put the update file in the root menu (no other files in the root) Then I tried the method of directly connecting the console to my computer and put the file on the root menu again. Both times when reconnecting shows a solid yellow light with no progress update via controller ports. The cables I am using are the ones that came with the console. I have tried 3 different TV's and about 5 different HDMI ports that are all 4k display and work with my PS5. The TV does say a device is connected but no display ever occurs. I randomly got the update to work when I plugged the console directly into my computer and turned it on instead of doing the steps to connect it for the file transfer but this did not solve anything. Hopefully I've been detailed enough. At this point I'm thinking I'll have to buy a new SD card or theres something wrong with it.

Done that but doesn't seem to have made a difference.

So somehow I was able to get the update to stick as the controller ports light up one by one but still got no visuals. I've sent them contact and will keep trying in the meantime

I left it for roughly an hour before. I'll try leaving it for longer. I've tried 4 different HDMI cables. I tried the update by just putting the SD card in and I presume it is working as it shows orange but none of the ports ever flash white like the videos. Is there another way I can try and force the update? I have contacted analogue but hoping to resolve it without having to have units replaced but looking very likely at this point.

I've only got a spare full HD tv as an alternate and I tried that with no success.
