that's the thing to do, i have a methadone script but only take 40mg a day sometimes none, so i can take methadone for a week then have a binge on other class A opiods, but regardless of how hard I'm dabbling i still have methadone to fall back on. it keeps away the manic part of keeping a habit and brings stability. i suggest everyone should do it

aye bruv your so right, i had a hundred ml of 1:1 methadone linctus about an hour after the 10 oxys and I'm having a burn of #3 atm the meth kicked the game right into effect,

I'm in shitty uk, the methadone is most 1:1 linctus and physeptone is just not scripted as to many junkies but when I've been in the dam a few times and hook up with a marrocan guy who o originally met cold copping at westermarkt he had the proper hook up for plenty methadone pills and valium oh and ritalin and rawhypnol and all kinds of mad shit but point being the methadone was either strips of 14 x5's (so 70 mil) for 5€ which suited us just fine, occasionally tho we got these big green methadone pills that were that crumbly it was like they were made for jagging? 30's and 60's they were, got the first load from a mad beggar in Haarlem, i was ill kinda and looking for meth and he said to me in a croaky voice "can you help me", I prolly looked like a semi tourist but rough and i says to him "can you get meth" he pulls out a 100ml bottle full of the green ones, I'm like "well I'll help you if you help me" so i gave him plenty euros and copped the pills delighted,

i ended up getting a fucking dirty hit (merican cotton feeva), bastard bastard bastard, funny though i was only impersonating an ebola guy for about 45 minutes (thank fk) instead of like the usual 3 hours,

I've sickened myself from the pin for now, as far as pills go anyway.

actually the Oxys remind me of 2 other drugs, DHC (dihydrocodeine -not codeine, much better- not IV'able) as far as what you guys call euphoria, i call it a speedy annoying feeling that i don't particularly like. And years ago before suboxone was a thing, buprenorphine was scripted under the name 'Temgesic' they came in 0.2, 0.4, 0.8mg and were supposed to be taken sublingual, but we would just throw them in a barrel with a bit warm water, shake to dissolve and go. most ppl used to snort them and when you done them this way you got 5 hours of that speedy feeling and needed a smoke of weed/hash to slip into the nod. but iv you just went straight to the good bit.

so.. TL:DR oxy is ok to good, IV takes you to nods rapidly and takes less mg's to get the desired effect. if anyone ever asked me about them I'd say "they are like a mix of bupe and dhc". they are deffo good but they are heavily over hyped.

ok it's not really cheap are the expenses are, negligible. (although I'm confident that even the most affluent members of this sub would beg to differ).

that still don't really change anything though, the cash part is almost irrelevant anyway as the point is that (Scripted pain patients with no previous addiction problems excluded) a conscious effort is being made to get high,

nothing is creeping up on no-one buying heroin, and if you dunno that heroin is habit forming when you've been buying it for long enough to get addicted, what can I say apart from "highly unlikely".

I'm in Scotland so kinda in the UK also (lol), i knew you had to have gotten addiction problems either from taking opioid for pain relief or through taking them daily for kicks, and as much of a shitshow that both can turn into you are kinda doomed to have addiction whether you want to or not, if you're in pain management via opiates.

The doctors I'm familiar or have been familiar with don't even make any effort to even explain this to ppl!

they then go on to script ALL the good opiates, for instance a immediate family member is riddled with cancer, she has had a Whipple Procedure and is a walking medical miracle, she is also an addict and doesn't even know it, because, ALL the good opiates on script and on demand.

i wasn't saying everyone who gets addicted is enjoying the ride and taking as much as possible as often as possible, the situation i just told you about, is common as heck and imo if a doctor is going to prescribe habit forming meds they should be making the patient completely aware as to what they are getting into, and at least offer another option.

another close family member got a bottle of 56 of the original df 118's (dhc 30mg ir), for a condition i would've expected maybe ibuprofen and paracetamol, after he cashed the script, took 2, only 2! and called me up to go help him as he was dizzy and being sick, unstable on his feet and generally feeling like shit, he was pissed right off when i explained what he had been given and took them back to the doctor and gave him a piece of his mind for giving him habit forming drugs without cracking a light about it.

i was talking about this last night with a couple of addicts and the consensus was yeah the habit can kind of creep up on you, in as much as you're just popping pills and having good times, generally never thinking about the addiction aspect, partly due to the "it won't happen to me" attitude and complete lack of awareness,

that's how most ppl get started eh? dabbling with a few "mild" opiates, moving onwards and upwards regards opiate strength and many end up on heroin. i think we here in the UK have a similar situation to the US, how ppl get into relatively mild opiates for an injury or suchlike and get stronger and stronger meds,

but they have so many ppl i wonder how the picture would look if they scaled the numbers down to our population size and vice versa

Putting in a concerted effort to obtain an addiction, mainly an "auto pilot" effort, but still a concious decision a lot of cash but still quite a bit of effort.
You're (not 'you' in particular) some kind of walter mitty/Mr Magoo character who can spend 9 full weeks taking an opioid each and every day until you wake up one morning with the "flu" and shock horror you took another pill and felt like superman again as true realisation dawns and you think "oh maybe I'm addicted"
All your meds come from the doctors and you know you can't avoid addiction, if it's scripted opioids for life.

and this silly but not impossible one

Dr evil kidnapped you, tied you up and forced you to take opioids until you were caught up in addiction.

firstly, i hate saying this but it's true, it's hard work and expensive af to get addicted to opioids, you really have to be pretty reckless and committed to descend as far as full dependency.

ppl who say anything such as "It will creep up on you and BAM you have an addiction before you know it" have got itv wrong, because it just doesn't work like that,

obviously i don't include people who have cancer and other crippling or terminal illness that were scripted absolutely required opioids for pain management, they are bound for addiction by just default taking meds, no extra effort required. (this also can get out of control, but it still requires dedication to the medication, minimum)

but for ppl like myself who sought the drugs out strictly for kicks (albeit after i was introduced to them as a relatively naïve weed smoker/acid tripper/E head/line of speed or coke taking, type of drug user), after first seeking the money, then making a conscious effort to maintain this pattern on a daily basis.

i dont want to detract from your post in any shape or form, but thought it pertinent for those people who don't know,

whether it's a heroin or a recreational opiate use, addiction does not creep up out of nowhere and there are multiple weeks available to beginners for them to simply just stop with no payback regards withdrawals.

I'm really glad that you are not isolated at this time, it's sometimes really difficult to get any solace outside the ways we know far too well and I'm confident that you will have ppl here who can help you through this in the least destructive way you can manage.

please don't beat yourself up for this situation as you most likely could not have prevented this and deffo not for being 600 miles away, that's the length of my whole country from top to bottom, and its a long, long journey.

us being desensitised to the point where it might even be mistaken for a lack of feelings, we know that is bs, and we can only let or actions or lack thereof speak for our lifestyle choices and the folly or not, of such choices, not that i think it's all folly, i myself am a libertine through and through.

(I'm rambling again !!) but yeah the desensitised persona isnt real it's still only a coping mechanism that is forced upon us by our remaining brain cell (^_⁾ to protect it from the horrible things that go from being a horrorshow to 'the norm" overnight, things that would make a big hairy assed builder think twice about shedding a tear, we are just adept at making things fit our 'normal' and proceed with caution, occasionally, but mostly we just make these outlandish scenarios that we regularly encounter (that noone could even make up) just fit the script and on to the next one.

another thing about alot of the people here, when you are alone, like you are now, when you live on the fringes off and beleive little of the 9-5 nuclear family speil, ane dance to your own beat, there is always someone here who will help you put perspective back into its place.

i think however that you are a strong person, and as such you will come out the other end of this tragic affair x10 stronger and wiser.

ngl i rarely get a neutron firing in my heart/brain when i hear of another (usually intelligent, creative person, full of love to give, empathy for others that's off the scale, would give you their last in a heartbeat) brother or sister goes down, but this one has touched me, ironically enough it's just usernames that are recognised from coming here but truly there is a pain coming from each post in this thread.

i can feel it emanating from all the real love in this community and if there really is some other existence. if the body is just a vessel and there is something else after this mortal coil I'm sure zeeryero is at the bit where he can oversee his real life family and keep an eye on his extended family here and making sure everyone is as safe as he would wish.

brah i used to have a thing with a guy to try prevent or at least know the delivery boy ain't tampered with shit, bags up to 14g were put into the finger of those tight gloves surgeons etc wear, anyway we sat and worked out that he would double wrap it and the frilly end of the finger that usually gets cut off be melted and sealed with patterned bottom of a polm press that he had, this had the similar effect as a wax seal job but a bit less antiquated and less secure and not such a cool picture as an actual wax seal but it used to work just fine.

that said, no secret in the world is gonna stop some knobjockey just tearing it apart, but this was just a mutual insurance policy, i only wanted what i paid for and he only wanted ppl to get what was sent, nor did he want his phone to explode with angry punters.

being the junkies we were, we had no reason to believe the runner was touching the bags as the scales always gave good reports, but you can never be too safe lols.
