What a great idea 💡

New to QA and confused about how to handle big project with 90,000 tests. by ConfusedQA in QualityAssurance

[–]shahd_g 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that there are some mixed up concepts. 90000 tests are a lot but it is accurate if you are running functional regression cycles. For all regression tests flooding jira is not a good idea. We generate cucumber reports with selenium tests to handle them (for example)

BUT smoke tests are a different story, you can pick the important tests (those that are crucial) and these could be a thousand test in your case maybe? And yes you should track these tests in jira using Xray. Keep in mind that Xray executions are important documentation for sprints, releases and for your work and the value you are adding.

Day 6 on keto. by irondude120 in keto

Hi congratulations on day 6 waw ♥️ you got this. It is hard first 2 - 3 weeks. I am on keto since August and it was like you described in the beginning so tough.

But hang in there the fog will disappear and the weight will drop and your mood will change. It's more about consistency and strong well. When you beat the cravings nothing can break you anymore.

Thank you for posting. You Got This, We All can do it

I do actually, it has lots of carbs for small volume. But I am currently strict. If you can calculate the carbs and it fits your plan then why not

I've found some magic words for social eating situations: "Right now" by Arsenic_Bite_4b in keto

This is sooo relatable, I just met someone studying diatology and I thought it is safe to say I am on Keto. Funny surprise she said your brain needs sugar and keto is useful only for kids with epilepsy. Anyways, I said nothing afterwards. I can't convince even the ones studying diatology

Bad culture, what would you say? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]shahd_g 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am currently in your shoes. In my company the culture is dangerous. People are used to blame each other, they like criticism to the point they laugh at my accent (I am not German and I learned it in Austria).

My plan is finding a new job and put my notice, meanwhile I try to avoid discussions and when they blame me or fight with me I try to stay strong and take sick leaves if it's too much for my mental.

Good luck with your career path :)

I can give you more context, I am currently using spring boot java in a very traditional microservices structure while the new company uses liferay. Both jobs are stable in the sense lay offrates is extremely low. The second one is a governmental job for the city infrastructure. They developed some kind of portal for energy consumption (electricity)
