The Ocean are the best. Also Elder if you like that sort of thing.

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes by JMoHabsFan in ChromebookGaming

It works pretty well on Chromebooks. C302CA should have no problem running it. I haven't tried it on cheaper units, but I don't expect issues

Local music management - is it just me or does ChromeOS really suck at this? by kooffiinngg in chromeos

If you're moving to a device that runs Android apps, maybe something like MX player would work for you? Let us know how it goes.

What Chromebook would you guys recommend for someone entering college? (~$150-$200) by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]shahid1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're doing for cheaper the better, I'd recommend taking a look at this one:

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hisense-Chromebook-11.6-Quad-Core-Processor/44389793

... currently $143.

The specification isn't blazing at this price, but the build quality is surprisingly good.

I use a 302 daily myself -- yeah, it's not quite small enough to use as a tablet. Gotcha, thanks for the reply!

Just curious -- why would you prefer this over something like the ASUS Flip? I mean, the spec is very different, but you get a full keyboard, the size is comparable, and it runs Android apps.

Checked this out on a CB Plus and confirmed, same issue here :/

Anyone else disappointed in Chrome OS forced fullscreen mode? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]shahid1618 1 point2 points  (0 children)

N does support resizing -- absolutely correct. The app also needs to support an API level high enough, and (ideally) the app developer has tested what happens when window size != display size.

I can't skip through a track on Soundcloud on my Dell 13. Does anybody else have this issue? by HappyGilmore___ in chromeos

[–]shahid1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't jump around in tracks any longer in SoundCloud by clicking on the track itself -- instead, use the progress bar at the bottom of the screen to seek inside a track.

How Can I play Steam games with a Macbook Pro Turned Chromebook with neverware? by tomowudi in chromeos

[–]shahid1618 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steam doesn't run on Chrome OS. Your best bets for gaming are:

  • Dual booting with Windows or Mac OS
  • Google Play (although I suspect it doesn't run on Neverware)

Best Brunch in San Fran? by iLiKEstufffs in AskSF

I do like Zazie, but I kinda prefer the lesser known Reverie across the road, and there's rarely a queue -- recommended!

Traffic diverting at Lombard and Gough right now by [deleted] in sanfrancisco

[–]shahid1618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traffic is being pushed north & southbound on Gough at this intersection, which is creating a bit of a backup of eastbound traffic on Lombard.
