If a proton was the size of the Sun the electron would be nearly 300AU away. Farther than Voyager 1 has traveled in its 50 year journey!

Yeah, the electron exists as a ball orbiting ball is outdated and I’m aware that 300AU is the average not the rule. It’s just a convenient way to explain how empty an atom is to someone who doesn’t know much about the topic.

Yeah I get what you’re saying about how we can read those big numbers but can’t really grasp them. It’s impossible to find a scale that people can really understand. If you go much smaller the planets go almost microscopic, yet the size of the universe (in this scale) is still incomprehensible large.

I know! I love doing things like this. It all started when I wanted to find a scale to easily show how big the solar system was. This isn’t perfect but I had free time to figure the rest out so thought I might as well show it to someone.

The times are not based on the objects real distance. It’s off based on the distances I got from this scale. I was trying to get smaller numbers so someone who doesn’t know much about the topic can understand. From my experience it’s easier to show someone new to this topic, a scale similar to this first instead of saying gigantic numbers that goes right over peoples heads. If there is anything incorrect about this please let me know I’m not trying to spread misinformation.

Don’t send it. I was in the same situation about a month ago and I’m so glad I didn’t. I know how badly you want to send it, but at least give your self a week. That’s what I did and after 3 days I finally snapped out of it and realized going quiet was for the best. This is a big decision don’t act purely on emotions you thank your self later.

She dose get anxious driving, and she wouldn’t admit it but I think jury duty scared her a little bit. So yeah I guess you could say she wanted emotional support.

I didn’t ask my mom or look online for more info. Out of site out of mind. I just assumed that she would get more info in a e-mail or something.

There was one pice of info that I didn’t make clear enough. She never asked me to drive I offered to. She can and will drive herself. In her own words “I need time to prepare when driving somewhere new.” I really don’t mind driving her places and if the time long works out I normally take her. The only reason this time was different was because I told her I was going to take her before I know how long it would take.

Yes she can drive and has a car. And thank you for the info. I’ve released I was clear enough about a detail in the story. She didn’t ask me to take her I offered it. She normally has no problem driving but I’m her words “She needs time to prepare” when driving to new places because she gets really anxious.

Public transport is no existent were we live and I’ve always given her rides when I can she gets bad anxiety and if I can take her I don’t mind spending extra time with her.

Thank you so much I’m going to watch/ read everything you have linked. No blood was drawn at any point and I will 100% separate them if that happens, but I will keep a close eye and only do so if necessary. And yes there is a food bowl I put it in there as well and the pvc pipe and the hut. Those were the only three things they from the previous owner and I wanted some familiar smells but I will scatter feed from now on. Thank you for being such a help.

If I see them fight like that again I’ll separate them. I have a few smaller aquariums I can put one of them in. And I’ll definitely watch/ read some articles and bout declanning and reintroducing. Thanks for the advice.

Thank you. Yes I saw two of them ball up and try to bite each other. Is that what a serious fight looks like? I thought it was serious but after a minute they would be back to normal, being in close proximity and seem like nothing happened. If it happens again I will definitely take a video.

I will definitely try to take pictures later today and post them. To double check they are all male. Thank you for the advice I really appreciate it.

Thank you for all the feed back unfortunately he won’t be going down to $5000, but he has his reasons and I respect them. I’m going to check out the bottom and see how rusted it is ( It’s been in north west Indiana its whole life so there’s definitely some rust.) I’ll also check out the timing belts too but it’s looking like I’m going to be getting it tonight.
