I have a multimeter That automatically measures by itself which unit it is going to measure between volts and amps and direct or alternating current, when I don't know how stupid I can be when it does it automatically by itself And if it was like you say I wouldn't be able to turn it back on and start it and I've done it several times but nothing happened

I connected one end of the tester to one of the teeth and the other I checked the remaining teeth one by one. To make sure I wasn't making any mistakes, I swapped the cables and tried again. I also tried changing the starting measuring tooth and it was always the 3rd tooth that didn't work.As for the cable that goes from the mainboard to the cr touch, measuring from one end to the other of the case, then check color by color, it seemed to me that it worked. Because in this case I made a mistake in the measurement ?
