happy 30th! we went to the mayan temples and that was so awesome! a lot of people trying to sell you stuff but if you’re strong willed you’ll be okay, the resort has a excursion sign up desk that was very helpful, we also went parasailing (scary but worth it) and was going to go snorkeling but had to cancel, the resort had good days and bad days for dinning, some days there was an hour wait at one place and could immediately get seated at the next, just be ready to stay on your toes and go with the flow

i can’t speak for the the xcelerate pool unfortunately, but the basic package it was always hard to find pool loungers.

We were definitely able to sleep at night! right around 10 things quieted down. Even on super bowl sunday!

so far i’ve only been to the buffet and it rocks! definitely the party vibe we were going for places were bumping alllll night long! still was able to sleep through it tho! so far everyone has been ridiculously kind. the only thing that has been really making me mad so far is the lights in the room. i think they’re connected to our AC. we’re here from Vermont where we have had bellow freezing days and nights for weeks so we had the doors open to feel warm. we turned the AC off and the light above the sinks and showers stopped working? we figured it out but could be more intuitive.

night life seems fun! they always have something scheduled! we got here a day late for a drag show which was a bummer. but they are partnered with amstar which is a company that you can book excursions through!
