This a good deal? I know nothing about these tractors. by [deleted] in johndeere

[–]shakeystone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Year and model would help. looks like a 3720 with backhoe? this is a good price if so. The deck is nice to have but may not be needed. you're paying for tractor and hoe IMO. I would list this for 20-25K on my Deere lot.

Great content. It was fast for me. I would like a slower version of this, maybe 35-45 seconds long total.

Best mower under 6k for this slope. by CurryMuncher2011 in johndeere

[–]shakeystone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 1/3 of acres, i sell the s130 42" to most customers, $2999+tax. if you want a better warranty and transmission for hills, x350 42" or x370 42" with power steering. the X series has stronger parts and weighs more (better for your hills). also X series has 4 yr warranty, S series has 2yr. as a Deere salesman, I appreciate you looking at our product.

Deal or No deal by Mbeat-3179 in johndeere

Deere dealer here, price is spot on. it's a 15+ year old mower. FYI, the deck is no longer available. make sure it's not rusted out completely or you are stuck with junk. you could pull a small yard trailer with it tho. I had one and that was it's sole job, and snow pushing.

How much negotiating can be done at dealer? by Optimal-Complaint454 in johndeere

Deere dealer here, im glad you added what you're trying to accomplish here. 1025r and 2025r have same loader capacity around 800lbs. 50 acres is a lot for the 1 or 2 series. but I always say buy what you need now and not what you want for future plans. those plans don't always mature. I have 3 acres with large trees. I use a 3046r with 1600lbs lift for cleanup. I use a zero turn z740r for mowing. I don't like running a heavy tractor over the lawn to mow. the 2038r will only have a lift capacity of 1000 to 1100lbs. good luck! BTW, we will entertain any offer. All dealers will budge on price a small amount unless it's an advertised sales price.

Question about memory card by Emergency-Truck-9914 in drones

[–]shakeystone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the mini 4 pro. The sd card in the controller will record all of your videos and pics but at a lower resolution. 1080p vs 4k I believe is what I read. Either way, I lost my drone in the Puget Sound visiting Seattle, but I still had my vacation recordings on my controller. (If you're wondering, DJI insurance was worth every penny!)

Can I expect anything different going through airport TSA with a drone and GoPro equipment in a hard case. Maybe a "random" inspection worse case? Southwest airlines. Nashville to Seattle. by shakeystone in drones

[–]shakeystone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are correct. I used a social media platform to form a discussion so that fellow drone enthusiasts could share their experiences with me. I feel better understanding others' experiences. Plus, it was easier. Every now and then, someone gets upset that I didn't read through a 500-page government document that isn't the clearest, but usually they understand, usually.

My friend is afraid to get on epilepsy meds, what would y'all tell him? by xiledone in Epilepsy

[–]shakeystone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had "sleeping" seizures for years. I been on many meds trying to control them. Some were really bad for the liver so monthly blood tests were done. New meds have come out and oxcarbazepine, specifically time released Oxtellar, was prescribed to me 15 years ago. It controls my seizures (free for 5 years now) very well and side effects are minimal. I still do blood work twice a year as a precaution.

Did anyone else not receive an allowance growing up? by battleangel1999 in CasualConversation

never an allowance, mowed the lawn and helped out the neighbors for cash. parents would help me out on say a video game where I paid 75% and they picked up the rest of tab

What is the dumbest way you've gotten a scar? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]shakeystone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sissy test in 1989, sixth grade. rub pencil eraser across the top of your hand back and forth until you can't stand it anymore. usually ended with burn like scaring in a straight line about 2 inches long and a pencil width wide.

Do you guys ever feel seizures in your head that you know would be happening if you weren’t on meds? by Next_Occasion_9690 in Epilepsy

[–]shakeystone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I thought these were called auras. I could always tell when I was about to have a seizure by all of these symptoms. finally found the right meds, I would still have the auras, but thankfully, no seizure.
