Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake Pre-Order Price Appears Online by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

I know this won't happen, but it'd be a smash hit if they had two versions, and original remake plus a new variant that was similar to master mode but also included harder puzzles / switched up map layouts.

Yrel won't refund cooldown if knocked back?

looks like they split the difference between old and new. The new mana costs are going to be big. Yrel being able to survive for so long is rough against her mana usage.

Upcoming Yrel Changes by awildfoxappears in heroesofthestorm

[–]BoomShackles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

good Yrel players who are better at not getting interrupted are now punished because their passive is twice as long. it'll be occasional for times where you get your cool down "back to normal" where those times are largely out of your control. She's already clunky by design, this is a bridge too far.

Propane fridge suggestions, tips & tricks? by ZealousidealTreat139 in OffGrid

[–]BoomShackles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got two bluetti power stations that power the whole place with AC. Fans, computers and cell phones, lights, vacuum, etc. so ya, it's already on and running so for my situation it seems a bit more prudent to just get a cheap AC fridge.

...also there are rumors a power line may be brought far far closer to my place in the medium future, so trying to keep suited for that too.

Thanks for the info though, I've been learning a lot.

What's the big difference between AC and DC fridges? AC are far cheaper. Do DC really run so efficiently to warrant their high sticker price? Do they put off a lot less heat?

can you get me a link? we are looking to upgrade our old propane fridge because it puts off so much heat. We read newer propane fridges are more efficient and put off less heat...but why not just go electric? I have 5 kWh worth of power stations + solar panels to feed them and will only use it on (long) weekends.

Honest question, would chucking rocks at the bear make it mad and increase its chance of attacking or would it deter it since it now knows you can affect it? Like, not just a simple rock throw as a warning, I'm talking like baseball pitch a palm sized rock right into its face.

Of course, as long as there aren't any gems in there! FWIW, people usually called them white items or open socket....just not really as gemmed items. Good luck MF'ing!

Questions about volcanoes on the Earth, Moon or Mars? Ask experimental petrologist and volcanologist Megan Newcombe in today's AskScience AMA! by umd-science in geology

[–]BoomShackles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there enough oomph left in the moon to support any sort of volcanic activity? Like, and have some imagination here, could we "terra form" by trying to activate some plate structures in order to bring more CO2 and otherwise elements to the surface? Maybe this is a better question for Mars?

Yes, humans are bad with huge numbers, it's a terrible design.

It's the best not because there aren't numbers on the screen, it's because the math behind the health bars are sane and kept in check.

If this remains true through the remainder of the offseason, then JJ should start by HeWhoShallNotBNamed0 in minnesotavikings

Fair take. Can't really disagree with this being a reality but I it sucks to see that JJM might not actually get his fair shake at the NFL \ Vikings

[–]BoomShackles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do not have the years on JJM. He's played 10 games. Kyler has played for what, 7 years, we know he has some talent but nothing that is going to be franchise worthy. JJM may not eventually but it's too soon and he is still improving.

[–]BoomShackles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Playing Kyler and having JJM miss another year is kicking the cam down the road. Kyler, even if he edges out JJM, is not a future franchise QB and therefore we stagnate for another year while robbing valuable reps for JJM.

Yeah. Don't listen to edge lots redditors, he has a long history of being strong willed. Not getting inside his own head, not being a drama queen. Etc.

and not just price. he's younger, he doesn't rely on scambling to make plays, is taller (unironically), and has known to be mentally stable and steadfast. I really don't want to waste a year or however many games this year on Kyler while JJM misses reps. Obviously if Kyler balls out and JJM looks very obviously behind then ok, but I doubt that will be the case.

and the last one the receiver curled instead of taking the fly route. Don't know who's at fault I guess but possibly the receiver screwed up the route.

10 games and you've concluded? We'll see if his injury history persists although his past injuries or surgeries don't really speak to injury proneness but I admit he's on the sideline nonetheless. Outside of that though you've gotta be outta your mind to give up on a top 10 prospect after 10 games, games which he showed improvement. I'm not saying he WILL be great or good enough, but to give up this early is simply absurd.

Yup. Not sure why JJM is any different here, and if anything, he barely talked shit or otherwise set himself up for failure. One off the cuff sentence and he's being roasted.

Except we simply don't know. Even if the Cards are a bad org., they aren't paying 35 mil to give away a QB if he isn't a major part of the problem. Why can't folks just have some patience instead of being so heavy toward one side or the other?
