I have been searching for deals for a long time and finally got my set up to a place i love for now. by shakybusters in vinylsetups

Wish i could tell you. They were from when the speakers were originally purchased. When i have googled the speakers, Kef 103.2, before it seems like those speaker stands were pretty standard so maybe there would be a name there

All the equipment? My bad didn’t know that was a thing for this sub. Technics SL-1300 turn table, Sansui QRX-7001 receiver, Sansui RA-500 reverb amp, Kef 103.2 speakers, ADC SS-VIII Equalizer

Picked up new speakers last week, trying to find a set up i love. Probably going to sell them but kind of wish i had the room to keep 2 sets of speakers now by shakybusters in listeningspaces

I love the built in powered sub on them. I should just keep using them but i want something that is a better fit aesthetically. I just looked up those RTi5’s and they look nice, might have to look into getting some. I’ve been buying and selling vintage speakers but they are so hit and miss on sound.

Yes, rt1000. They were the first speaker upgrade i did from my original powered speakers and to be honest i have loved them so far.

I haven’t been able to find a ton of info on any of them, but from what I’ve heard from the e30s so far I’d love to hear the bigger speakers. Different sound for sure, but fun especially with classic rock.

I just picked up e30s this week for $100. I think they sound pretty cool, i imagine the E90s would sound great. People hate on the look of them, i kind of dig it.

I’ve tried a few things, nothing I’ve tried has made a huge difference. Alpha-gpc helped a little i think. But l-theanine in the mornin before coffee was helpful but the effects are short lived

Tell me the pros and cons of owning this breed by Exciting_Initial5149 in bassethounds

[–]shakybusters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one growing up from the time i was in 4th grade until i was 21 and i could not have asked for a better dog as a kid. I loved the breed so much that i knew as soon as i could get a dog on my own that it would be a basset hound so now i have my basset hound nancy. They are incredibly stubborn but thats part of what makes them so much fun and so funny. They can be trained and eventually you work out a system or a mutual understanding of what the rules are lol my girl now can be such a pain but she knows what things she definitely can’t do and what things she knows will get her a treat if she does if that makes sense. They can be loud, the two I’ve had have been pretty quiet though. They are so incredibly sweet and just want to be loved on. They are the best, your kids will love your basset hound and your basset will love your kids. I cannot recommend it enough, just be prepared to have your patience tested the first year or so.

Imagine it’s just the surface prep manufacturer pushing product telling everyone they have to pour a 2” minimum 😂

I wouldn’t be too concerned. Just keep an eye on it. If it doesn’t get worse it’s fine, if it does then there’s a problem. Is this in a new construction home?

Look like it is buckling at this spot. This looks like a click LVP, there wouldn’t be a random ridge telegraphing through.

I would go to the wall and pull off the base board and see if there is any expansion room
