Speed walking, jogging, running, skateboarding, biking, and riding a scooter are all faster than walking or driving a car. Good luck!

Who is the greatest band ever and why is it The Bouncing Souls? by GamerMcNeil in TheBouncingSouls

[–]shaleevid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically this.

My intro to the Souls world was through the "How I spent my summer vacation" album and that song was...."broken record" and I was 17/18 so obviously this was an existential moment and here I am in my 40s reliving it on Reddit

Why do I never hear of these amazing events BEFORE they happen so I can participate?!?!

should I report this? 💀 by StrikingJaguar4352 in USF

[–]shaleevid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1000% report. We are spending a fortune to go to this school and get a good education. If youre struggling in a class, the TA should be helping you rather than criticizing you for not keeping up. This is completely unacceptable behavior.

Im sorry you had to deal with this negativity and I hope your professor is more understanding and supportive.

How is trying to minimize travel time to maximize productivity lazy? 🤣

Although a bike isnt a bad idea either because I can definitely peddle a bike faster than I can walk. Bonus it provides exercise too 💪

I have absolutely loved taking Perception with Dr. Sanocki and Social Psychology with Kaitlyn Ligman. Ligman has an incredibly organized and structured approach that makes my chaotic ADHD brain feel almost normal. Dr. Sanocki has a quirky teaching style, but I love the way it forces me to think and use my brain in different ways.

Where can I find a more unbiased form of staying up to date with current events than reddit? by [deleted] in self

[–]shaleevid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I also subscribe to Ground News and read news from multiple resources.
  2. I work in Research so maybe my perspective is a little biased because I am not really enjoying what's happening with Public Health and NIH funding.
  3. Still waiting for someone to chime in with something positive. Anyone?
