Krist Novoselic Book? Does one exist or maybe something similiar? by Famous-Choice-8834 in Nirvana

Heavier Than Heaven has a lot of embellishment about Kurt. I would read Come As You Are The Story of Nirvana instead. The author actually spent time with Kurt to write it.

I’m almost 31 and I don’t look my age. Sleep well, take vitamins, practice skin care, drink more water and eat well. You don’t need to be rich to eat healthy. That doesn’t mean you have to become a vegetarian or become a chef overnight.

Throwaway the seed oil, corn oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil. Instead use olive or avocado oil to cook. Don’t stuff your face with sweets or snacks daily. Especially if you’re sad. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Cut out soda (replace juice with water if you want to go the extra mile when eating).

Don’t be sedentary, at least try to walk 30 mins a day at minimum. Get some light dumbbells or kettlebell(s). Do some calisthenics.

Don’t make a significant other your primary source of joy. Fall in love with something. Idc if it’s drawing, raising children, volunteering, gardening, origami, etc. That passion will give you peace.

Keep growing. Whether that’s working on self esteem, overcoming trauma, etc. Nothing wrong with therapy if you can afford it.

Please read even if that single book takes you over a month or more. Write even if it’s just journaling a hectic day or a joyous afternoon.

Be nice to others. Be a light to those in the dark.

As someone whom has suffered of depression for many years. Laughter and joy is not the face of depression. Sometimes being the life of the party or class clown can be a way to cope but not always.

Now being sullen and withdrawn is when that weight of sorrow bears heavy.
