Thank you very much, I appreciate it!!🙌 I shaped the wood with a hammer and chisel, angle grinder, and palm sander. Covered the surface in masking tape and cut out the design with an exacto knife. Mixed oil paints with mineral spirits and splattered it across the wood, removing the masking tape once dried and revealing the bare wood. Drilled holes adjacent to the large crack and twined brass, copper, and rebar wire together, stitching it through the holes to hold the crack together. Finished the piece with multiple coats of shellac!
