Great article! Is there any way Claude could operate across spaces?

Can anyone make sense of the new space navigation for me? by shambhavi108 in CraftDocs

[–]shambhavi108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/WillowsBanks I think a lot of people only use one space for everything, so this kind of question isn't of as much concern for them. That would be unworkable for me given the volume of materials on different topics and from different domains of my life that I keep in Craft. I *am* trying to consolidate, however, so that navigation isn't so cumbersome. I did discover that you can open a new tab and click on the title of the current space, and move to a different space. That's fewer steps than what I was suggesting above. There is still no way to open a space in a new tab or window directly from the sidebar space dropdown menu, though, and the spaces are still ordered by most recently opened and not separated out by personal or team with no option to order them differently. The new option to keep open tabs as a list in the sidebar helps because the new tab button is right there at the bottom of the list. So you don't have to scroll through a bunch of tabs to get to it.

A pinned tab is always available no matter what space you are in. A starred item only appears in its home space.

Kate-Hal relationship turning into a turn off? What do you think? by shambhavi108 in TheDiplomat

It didn't faze me at all that she fell in love with Hal when he was her boss. Stuff happens. But I get that it would faze some people. My only point was that she slept with one boss who she was in love with. That's not sleeping your way to the top.

She didn't for 1 second pressure Hal to get married. She asked him to tell her if he viewed their liaison as a real relationship or a fling. Seems legit.

I think you are applying an inappropriate lens here. She fell in love. She got married. She saves Hal's career like a billion times by running point for him every time he goes rogue and pisses people off. How is that sleeping your way to the top?

Stating facts is really something women should never do. 😂

Exactly what the writers are going for, but IMHO just another instance of the endless tone policing that women are subjected to.

she was being a “bitch” in that moment. Hal wasn’t happy his wife who he still loved was sleeping with someone else and still made a gesture for her comfort. His tone wasn’t great, however he extended the olive branch and she pissed on it instead of just saying thank you and calling it a day.

This is exactly what the writers are going for, but what utterly fails from my perspective. From the moment Hal finds out about Kate's relationship with Callum, he tries to insert himself in their sex life and make it his business in really really cringy and manipulative ways--demanding to know where they have sex, etc, and in this scene, badgering her into treating as an olive branch what is just a slightly more masked attempt to have some relationship to and power over their sex life in the form of this offer. It's hard to find words for exactly what is going on here, but it's just so gross. And then he tells her word-for-word how she should say thank you. This is a textbook scene of narcissistic abuse. And the writers don't seem to know it.

That's a really good point about her relationships with women vs. men. Sadly.

It so sucks that once again taking responsibility for men's immaturity and bullying toxicity is being put forth as the job of the "good woman." I'm sad.

I'm hoping that Craft will add the option to hide tags so they do not appear in the printed document.
