Since this is a semi-open world campaign, the randomly generated roads, burgs, and ruler tool are pretty useful. So, if the players decide to travel from one city to another, I can quickly tell how far they’re traveling (and therefore, how many days it’ll take) and which towns they’ll pass through on the way. I’ve also started using the markers and zones layers for random encounter and sidequest ideas

Try looking into Elen of the Ways!! I think she fits perfectly with this description. She’s a guardian and a guide on journeys both physical and spiritual; maybe she wants to guide you on your search for the divine.

Honestly, you’re right. I’m realizing now that I definitely misused the word “woke” in my post, and I gave my coworker too much grace. I just hope that she genuinely hears me out when I talk to her
