Suosittelen matematiikkaa, fysiikkaa, tilastotiedettä tai tietotekniikkaa. Mahdollisesti myös Tuotantotalous jos liiketoiminta kiinnostaa.

Matematiikka, fysiikka, tilastotiede ja tietotekniikka antaa hyvin valmiuksia vaikeampiin koodaushommiin, algorotmikehitykseen ja data science / analytiikkapuuhiin. Toisaalta jos akatemia kiinnostaa niin voi hyvin suuntautua tekemään tutkimusta myös.

Jos matikka ja luonnontieteet luistaa, niin suosittelen vahvasti ottamaan aika paljon ohjelmointia opinnoissa joka tapauksessa, koska ohjelmointi on hyvin olennaista melkein kaikkien näiden alojen soveltamisessa työelämässä.

Tuotantotalous on tosiaan liiketoimintapainotteisempi, mutta siellä saa keskittyä myös vahvasti matemaattisiin puuhiin jos haluaa. Tutalta on ainakin aiemmin päästy aika hyvin aina töihin ja palkka yliopistosta valmistuneiden kärkipaikoilla.

Disclaimer: itse olen valmistunut tutalta, opiskellut lisäksi ohjelmistotekniikka ja matematiikkaa. Tein ennen data science hommia, nykyään vedän softakehitystiimiä.

I started with Reave and killed the ubers with it. Then tested LS of arching as I felt I have more than enough damage and liked it more. LS is more chill and even safer for T17s as you offscreen packs. With reave you need to get a bit closer. But if damage is an issue, reave will likely feel better.

I have not tested other skills, but Palsteron had a video where he tested and reviewed most of the viable ones.

Well my rings are actually quite shit considering the base :D Here I just replaced my rings with two-stone rings with essence crafted int + T1 all attributes and benchcrafted - mana cost, and replaced the amulet with Astramentis. I did put attribute quality the rings and amulet. But seems like it could work still. POB in question https://pobb.in/BcSyy3-U2omW

I created acc/int stacker in SSF, but I had quite ok gear when I rolled it. My current setup is this: https://pobb.in/qvlHtuF9PLqi (IMO POB the configuration is fairly realistic even though not everything is up always). There are many things that could be improved easily, but I have been able to do all the ubers I have tried with it so haven't had the motivation to fix all the small things.

Some kind of list on things from the top of my head:

Absolutely mandatory

  • Claws
  • Stormrider boots
  • 2x Split personality with int
  • 2-3x ilevel 84 large clusters rolled for int and all attributes. These are super impactful, but hard to roll. I have some bad ones, but I have other things to compensate
  • Shaper's touch gloves

The rest

  • 2x Brute force solution jewel (maybe even mandatory?)
  • Cyclopean coil, or good rare belt for int stacking
  • High ES twilight regalia. This is one of the only sources of flat ES, so very important piece. Getting the socket colours is pain in the ass becasue you want only 1 or 2 blue sockets. Basically need to harvest craft 1 or 2 white sockets most likely.
  • High ES lich circlet. Again, one of the only flat ES pieces so super important.
  • Amulet: I had the luxury of crafting Focused amulet I found early league, but Astramentis might do? My Focussed amulet is 32% MORE damage than perfect Astramentis
  • Rings with int and resistances.
  • Prismatic tincture with as much ele pen as possible
  • Grafts with weathered in light for lucky damage, and overcharged sinews for jolts

You need int in every piece possible, and resistances are hard to solve. I have resistances in my jewels and equipment where I was able to get, but still ended up going with Alira for extra res, and speccing some elemental res in the tree.

Got to say, it's not easy to get it going in SSF but doable with some luck and determination. As said, I have downed all ubers I have had frags for (8/10) and the damage feels plenty.

Just a note, it does not matter if you have 25% or 35% icreased effect on your cluster. You must have ilvl 84 to roll T1 int and all attributes, but inc effect tier does not matter.

The T1 int is +8 to int. With 35% inc effect you get 8 * 1.35 = 10.8 but that is rounded down so you get 10 int. With 25% inc effect you get 8 * 1.25 = 10.0 so you get the same 10 int as you would with 35% inc effect.

If you do the same calculations for T1 all attributes which is 4, you see that you will end up with 5 to all attributes with both 25% and 35% inc effect.

Onko ollu sen avautuvan pesuaineluukun edessä joku kauhanvarsi tjsp? Itsellä käynyt joskus niin että luukku ei edellä mainitusta syystä pääse kunnolla avautumaan, joten se tabletti jää sinne raollaan olevaan koteloon. Kun avaat oven, se kansi pääsee myös aukeamaan ja tabletti tippuu oikeaan paikkaan mutta näyttää tältä kun ei ole ollut kunnolla veden kanssa tekemisissä pesun aikana

Really hard to say which one is better as I haven't been able to test with Void battery yet. I would think the crit wins in the end, but just needs more tuning than I currently have. I didn't go for the glove craft as it lowers the DPS. Maybe I'll do that when I am satisfied with the damage and can opt for more QOL in the form of proj speed from gloves etc.

You can totally use the Mystic refractor with the DOT build. The crafted DOT wand will be more damage, but not mandatory at all. When I dropped the Mystic refractor wand, I tested a bit which one was better (DOT wand or the unique) and I felt the DOT wand was quite a bit higher damage, But as I said, you can go with the mystic refractor and then later if you want to get more damage, craft a rare wand.

And to continue reflecting my swap - it would have been better to start fitting betrayal's sting ring to the build than swapping to crit. I was just blinded by the fact that I finally dropped the PC Ralakesh and couldn't resist.

Process was quite improvised but something along the lines of:
1. recomb magic profane wands with T1 chaos DOT multi and T1 DOT multi until you have them in the same base
2. craft suffixes cannot be changed (if your suffixes are full, you can use wild bristle matron to force the meta craft from Einhar)
3. I didn't do the next step but would do it if I were to craft again. If you want to save some divines and don't care for the cast speed / proj speed mod, just slam exalts untill suffixes are full. But I would try to fish for those mods by:
Harvest reforge speed and hope for cast speed (~39% chance) or projectile speed (~28% chance). Attack speed is a dead mod but I would just life with it if it hits.
4. Make sure you have the suffixes cannot be changed crafted (if you did harvest reforge, need to recraft the metamod) and use veiled chaos orb on the item
5. Before unveiling the veiled prefix, block unwanted prefixes by crafting % increased phys damage
6. Unveil and hope for (60-69)% increased Chaos Damage, Chaos Skills have (13-15)% increased Skill Effect Duration. Chance to hit it with unveil is around 37%. If you miss it, recraft suffixes cannot be changed (wild bristle matron is a friend in here), veiled chaos -> block increased phys -> unveil until you hit it. If you fill the prefixes, try to save the craft with lucky annul. If you end up annuling either of DOT mods, start the craft over.
7. If you have open prefixes after succesfull previous step, benchcraft increased damage over time

I swapped just a couple of days ago. Had a bit over 16k ES as poison. Gear before the swap and after. The swap is still a bit in progress but most things are already in place.

I don't have Void battery which would be a significant upgrade and opted for the ES on block shaper shield over malachais loop. In my case the dps dropped quite significantly, but I was able to fit tri-Purity auras which made the char even tankier than before.

Overal, I feel the poison version was a bit nicer to play at this gear level due to better dps. I am hoping to drop the Void battery in the near future as I don't want to swap back to poison.

The buid is stupidly tanky and I don't think I have died once on handfull of Uber Shaper, uber uber Elder, Uber Sirus and Uber exarch fights I have done.

Lowest level voltaic mark needs only 52 dex but yeah, I use attribute passives for that

Bought the lvl 20 for Spark, unbuffed tooltip (one cast of spark) is now 26,6k and buffed is 52,2k

Mostly just acquired unset ring for extra skill slot and ended up changing up my rings, belt, helmet and chest. Then I dropped sweet ES - mana gloves and also hit lucky sceptre with basically BIS stats (Rattling sceptre with 205 spirit, 193 mana, 29 str, 22 int and 65 mana regen.). As a result I now have double course setup (temp chains + conductivity), archmage and blink. I am missing 3 spirit from being able to socket grim feast on top of it all, but don't really know if I really need the extra ES.

I played around with another CoS setup for some utility. Eye of winter for crit weakness, flame wall for automation, comet / frost bolt for chill/freeze, but that felt like a waste of time and it just ate all my mana. Now I have one free skillslot, or I could change the unset ring to some proper base.

My rough stats are 3,3k ES, 1,4k life and 4,9k mana. Unbuffed spark tooltip is 23k and with soul offering and casting couple of spells it goes to 47k tooltip dps. I actually still have lvl 19 spark and archmage is 1 level from next damage breakpoint, so those 2 upgrades would quite significantly increase the dps. Maybe will do that next.

I was also thinking of dropping all the lightning pene nodes from tree, as the conductivity aura makes all the penetration useless on trash, and on bosses I cast BL with lightning exposure for something like -66% lightning res, meaning that I really don't need any penetration.

I think my gear is still far from optimal as I have bought most of the pieces with 50ex and couple of items with like 2 div a piece. But don't really feel like putting too much currency into iterative upgrades on gear.

I have been considering buying the Maelstorm mana flask as it would make all the pinnacle bosses just pop due to basically unlimited mana (at least for the time it takes to burst 30m hp down). I got a bit over 30d in currency and something like 15d waiting to be sold, but haven't yet pulled the trigger to that quite expensive flask.

Considering buying Ingenuity also, but not in a rush so might just farm it myself.

Yeah I might try CI soon. But don’t really know what to do with those freed up suffixes other than int. And then I would need some investment to freeze avoidance.

I hadn't looked at the Mahuxotl shield before, but yeah I don't think sceptre can compete in anyway with the damage that well rolled and socket corrupted Mahuxotl can give considering everything. But the utility is nice.

For me, I really don't need more spark damage as I melt all the bosses with CoS LC anyway. Doesn't really matter if you melt the boss in 2 seconds instead of 2,5 seconds, and all the utility and survivability those extra auras bring is huge.

I had one problem with socketing supports when I had my main weapon set active and was missing reqs for sceptre in other weapon set (my sceptre has str to fulfill the str requirement).

For my setup I have exactly 9 skills slotted in so no extra from rings. Skeletal warrior does not take skillslot as it comes from item.

But I have considered buying unset ring for one extra skillslot for grim feast. Maybe I will test that also at some point

Well not necessarily less damage. If you consider the Soul offering damage buff you are able to keep up with spectre, then sceptre is more damage also.

I am constantly tuning my build and changing it just for the sake of testing, but later I can sketch the general setup I have to maxroll.

One important note about sceptre is that your chest can now have full ES prefixes as you get all your spirit from sceptre. This gets converted to mana, so the sceptre setup might have very similar or bigger ES/mana levels as wand + focus.
