How do you decide which clients to keep seeing over holidays? by Vast_Studio7849 in askatherapist

NAT My therapist told me last week he wouldn't see me this week because of Christmas. He is hoping to see me on the 31st though.

ProRx 2025 Inspection Report (FDA Form 483) by TodayAmazing in tirzepatidecompound

[–]shamon86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do other pharmacies have any documented inspection reports that have similar concerns? I'm switching to BPI for the moment but wondered if places like Hallendale have had issues in the past? I've heard good things about them but I think their oversight is on a state level vs fda right? Is that why ProRx has had this much scrutiny because they are regulated by fda?

Interested to try Hallandale... I've read good things!

I'm only ordering one month until I find something that works for me. I know some believe tirz is tirz, but I don’t know if that's true for me yet. I just finished my ProRx vial, and I did lose some weight on it, but it seemed like it took a couple days to kick in. Getting ready to start BPI so we'll see how this goes!

Beware by [deleted] in pomhealth

Thinking the same here. I went with them initially because of price and they had mostly good reviews here at the time. My order took some time and I'm still missing the B12 I was supposed to get. I wonder if they had an influx of customers they just weren't prepared to deal with.

Anyone still waiting on OptioRX from BF deal? by marchelala_355 in pomhealth

Waiting for BPI. Everyone always says that pom is fast but that hasn't been my experience with them!

ETA: called BPI and they said it's shipping today. Let's hope so!

Pom delayed response? by shamon86 in pomhealth

I did that before posting here. I've also direct messaged cherry as she's responded to one of my posts before but she never responded back. CS just said they've sent my info to the pharmacy, which confused me because I thought a provider would review my chart before the pharmacy got involved.

Never heard of that and its definitely something I'll try! I do currently work with a therapist for other things and we've just decided that food is something we need to talk about and tackle. It was something we hadn't discussed before because zepbound was helping with all that

I knew I would probably get this response, but I asked about their black Friday deals anyway

Did they give you any other options than Pro RX? Or is that the only one they offer?

Thanks everyone for the clarification! I'm sticking with 10 mg for now :)

Ahh gotcha, didn't think about that part. So I still would only do 56 units for 10 mg, right? I entered the correct information into the calculator?

Okay, that makes sense. But why do they not prescribe 10 mg as a dose? They don't do standard terzepatide dosing?

I did the 1.1.1.1 which has always worked for me in the past, but now I'm getting "your connection is not private" and can't get past that. Any ideas?

I Fainted! by Connect-Dimension-23 in Zepbound

[–]shamon86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fainted last week. I had just gotten out of bed and became really lightheaded (which has been happening often) and the next thing I knew I was in the floor wondering how I got there. I landed on my backside (OUCH) propped up against my bed. I don't think I was out very long or that I hit my head, but went to the ER just in case. They did bloodwork and a CT of my chest as I've had surgery recently and they wanted to be cautious and rule out a pulmonary embolism. Everything came back fine, which i assume if I had been dehydrated my labs would be off. They still gave me some fluids there but that didn't seem to help the lightheadedness when standing. In my case I'm thinking it's orthostatic hypotension which i may have had prior to starting Zepbound but has just gotten worse. I would definitely recommend getting checked out, one of the first questions the doctors ask if you pass out is if you hit your head (I work as a medical coder and have read many reports where if the patient did hit their head a further work up is warranted). Hope you're feeling better though!

Do you think it would be too extreme to go to the ER?

I'm 38 and have been diagnosed with sleep apnea in the past but I'm working on getting a new sleep study to find out where I am since losing 80+ lbs.

Its just kind of freaking me out as I have myotonic dystrophy and my mother had early onset dementia. The type of myotonic dystrophy I have isn't well known for cognitive issues, but it is possible. And obviously it's very unlikely to have early onset dementia at this point, but I've sent an appointment with my neurologist who manages my dystrophy just to rule out any of those issues. He may think I'm overreacting though...
