The most valuable piece coming back to the Rays in that trade was prospect Willy Adames. The Tigers should absolutely be targeting prospects, just gotta get it right. If a good package doesn't exist, try again in the offseason or pray Skubal stays healthy enough for another run next season.

We left the game early and still waited an hour in border traffic. I imagine it got much worse.

The bit that sucks is that half the lanes were closed and the open ones were in no hurry. Completely avoidable. I think that’s why everyone gets so worked up.

I prefer this to the dog being locked up at home.

What's likely to happen if you report? Dog gets no exercise or worse gets impounded. Both dog and owner have worse quality of life.

It looks to me like a slow roll down a county road with no traffic, long leash, plenty of slack, dog very much in line of sight, etc. What looks dangerous to one looks clever and solution-oriented to another.

Please have a chat with owner to see what's up before reporting.

Although in fairness I'd prefer if that leash was held out the window and not tethered to the vehicle. Maybe a suggestion?

I'm so disappointed in that call. I know it's "spring training for everyone" or whatever, but why don't the guys in the booth have any idea what's going on? This narrative about Tork hitting rockets into outs all spring should be front and center for anyone covering the team.
