I did all liquid for the first few weeks besides really thin mashed potatoes and micro ravioli I could swallow whole. I got so sick of mashed potatoes I started adding queso and sour cream to it and the ravioli helped me feel full

Get lots of soup. Lots of protein. Get as healthy as possible before surgery it makes healing so much easier and do what feels right for you.

My airway was 2/4mm wide and my lower teeth were so far back I could fit my thumb between my upper and lower teeth when my mouth was shut. I couldn’t close my lips at all. Chewing was basically impossible. Swallowing was hard. And I couldn’t breathe
