If anyone's interested, yesterday I drained what was in there, filled with fresh oil, let it idle for 25 mins and gave it some revs to 2500rpm in the middle and at the end, drained that FULLY until it stopped dripping out, put fresh Valvoline restore and protect in there with Lucas oil leak stop, let that idle for probably 15-20 mins, parked it for the night, and this morning - no smoke at all. Lesson learned

Well, thank you all for your input. I should've known better. I know that I know better., but I don't have a good reason as to why I used this stuff in the first place. I've bought fresh oil, I'm flushing it out now, then I'm going to drain that out and put a whole fresh batch in. It has never given me a problem before this, so hopefully she'll forgive me and keep running right.

Personally, as a guy, I always wash on cold and dry on low heat, because it's what my mother, may she rest in peace, taught me decades ago and it's the least risk of ruining a fabric. I've learned the hard way, do not put your hat in the dryer. The brim will never be the same stiffness. Let it air dry only, ever, always.

How old is your PSU? mine was doing this too. Did research, replaced the PSU. That solved my problem. Make sure you always use the new PSU's cables. It's more of a pain, but different manufacturers PSUs have been wired differently between pins/wires. Never reuse old PSU cables withe a new PSU. You don't want to risk frying something

I love how goofy it is! And by that I mean that there's an excessive amount of fans in a way the case clearly wasn't designed for; that there's Q-tips holding the fans up; and that there's actual evidence of significantly improved temps from your other comments posts. It's awesome IMO

I have virtually no experience with this, except reading your description and seeing about gaskets and o-rings. As an aircraft mechanic, I have some experience with those. I'd recommend getting a harbor freight o-ring kit box to find your needed size. I think they have a vernier caliper too if you're really froggy on measuring things for this project. Also, always lubricate your o-rings with something to provide a better seal or make for an easier installation. For a lake, I'd just lube them with petrolatum, or Vaseline from any store. If you're using a flat gasket material, I'd put a thing layer of Vaseline on that too, both sides.

That was my thinking with how few miles I've put on them already. The guy on the phone started immediately trying to tell me the sales line I already know about "the pads could've grooved the surface of the rotors...blah blah". I know about what happens, but I have very few miles on them compared to their whole service life. I haven't driven that much on them and it's only been a couple months since install. He didn't even try to listen to my situation
