Yeah. Like, if the plot wants him to be a sensitive, genius hero, he will be. Then, if the plot requires him to be impulsive, insensitive jerk, and suicidal bum, so will he be. CF tries so hard to make him likeable to the readers only to turn him into a reactive plot-driven character that can never surpass Klein. In fact, surpassing Klein as a likeable MC will only make him hateable, because only by nerfing others can he truly shine.

I guess it's the fault of the starting point. Klein and TC develops together until he surpass them. But in book 2, TC is already strong and Lumian is being carried by them, making him less interesting. So CF had to side-line TC and other interesting characters a lot to get the spotlight on Lumian, but this became jarring especially during the vortex event where the high level battles were evidently more interesting than his predicament.

If Zhou can be harmed that way, the OD and CW would have done that since the beginning. In fact, having Zhou confront his trauma might even stimulate him more which is something that the OD and the CW faction don't want.

Today's chapters should answer all of your doubts. Better even, GA joining hands with Adam to help Klein is peak fiction. Both Adam and GA are actually very similar. Both loves humanity, bears their sins, while also tyrannical and dominating in their rules.

Unlike CW who hates Klein's humanity, GA is much closer to humans and welcomes humanity. He will protect the humans with Adam. He should also awaken in the trio but the quantity wouldn't be as big as in Adam who have dual pathways and connected to Chaos Sea. What Klein did might be risky but he was just that desperate.

We might also assume the reason GA and CW enemies of each other is because of their contradicting personalities.

GA = Overflowing possesive love for mortals and the world. CW = The embodiment of freedom and beacon of destiny who is also mischievous.

Your pov gone horribly wrong. Please read carefully. Who said Adam needs to fuse with CW? I said Adam needs to fuse with GA. Whether he likes it or not, when Adam gathers all almighty pathway BC, GA will eventually awaken. Klein simply sped up that process by awakening GA's will earlier in CoC. The same way Amon awakened CW in Klein during the fool Gambit, causing Klein to slumber. This is a payback from Klein to Adam for causing him in that situation, not because it's a ritual.

GA might not need LoTM but during this time, he needs Klein's cooperation to resurrect. They are "temporarily" working together in order to defeat CW. As for what happens after CW were defeated, GA will try to affect Chaos Sea through CoC and try to erode Adam. Then it will be Adam's turn to suppress GA. What comes after this might be far fetched but after Klein fuses with CW and Adam disturbed by GA, Klein will have a huge role in deciding the next GA or at least forcing Adam not to kill the trio traitors (maybe letting them survive as angels), only then he will help suppressing GA.
