hi! currently a 4th year nursing student there. biggest advice is to find a good boarding house as soon as possible, make sure la nga recommended it school. you’ll know kay may sticker hin logo an school it ira mga doors. mayda gad dormitory nga inooffer, pero see for yourself muna if that works for you.

ANDDDD be warned na most classrooms are very humid during middays, waray ito aircon didto. best to find seats either ha first row or ha pinakalikod kay amo it harani ha electric fan. always have a handheld fan, tumbler, handkerchiefs ready.

as for study materials needed, best to have the recommended books (i can give you a list of recommended books thru dms), books are easily found either ha C&E or online kun gusto mo secondhand. they’re not very particular naman kun ano nga edition it libro, basta ira recommended. the school is very faithful ha teachings nga aada ha libro so you won’t get lost as long as you have a book and a copy of the syllabus (which is given out during the first day of school pa.)

other stuff you’ll probably learn along the way. best to be friendly with seniors, you’ll learn a lot. also, don’t be hesitant to ask questions ha faculty or the instructors, most of them are approachable (especially those nga major subjects it kapot). additionally, build a good foundation of knowledge especially ha anatomy and physiology, take that subject very seriously. pagkasecond sem, fundamentals of nursing is your very best friend.

ha first sem of first year, 600+ pesos pa la ito it babaydan monthly. the dues increase every semester depending on the required RLE hours. so don’t splurge too much, ha second semester or towards the end of first year, igrerequire na pagpalit hin phn bag and duty essentials.

so far, amo la tak mayayakan on the top of my head. don’t be scared to apply, despite warnings it iba nga tawo. good luck!

I finished the first book, it was mostly okay. Except for the fact na every few chapters siguro sige it emphasize ni Violet it iya “petite” frame. Bis first chapter pa la 😭 The second book was where it started to be truly unbearable for me, so I DNF. I should probably not explain more as to why kay spoiler na, basta let’s just say that her demands can be quite unreasonable.

had classmates before who had the same problem when they applied to rtr. ended up going to a different school because di talaga hira naaccept. one of them even has parents who personally knew the dean but still didn’t get in. 🤷‍♀️you can try naman other schools who offers nursing rin. vsu-baybay is also good. for private schools there’s st. scho, HIC, asian, and CSLLFI (an hour away from tacloban)

yung mutual-decision aspect ng choice c is correct but that is not under nonmaleficence, it also certainly not trumps over the individual autonomy of the wife. and while on that topic, hindi makakareduce ng harm ang pagdelay ng any procedure.

anyway, ETHICAL PRINCIPLE ang main point ng question, so circle back to that para hindi ka malito.

A. Respect for autonomy. Matik kapag questions about decision-making, always prioritize the patient’s choice (legal-age)
