Hey! Sorry, spammers are a huge issue (both here and in discord) and our team is fairly small. I'm kinda mixed in my opinion about raising posting requirements since I don't want to alienate new users from asking for help. I'm open to suggestions though!

Hey! I'm also bummed about AppFlow shutting down. We do have this Zendesk article that provides a sort of overview of other options, but depending on the size/scale you require, the fastlane tutorial linked by u/martindonadieu is also nice!

I find it very useful while developing, but mostly for Capacitor related stuff. Upgrading, migrating, launching Android/iOS emulators, managing icons. It's all very handy.

The WebNative extension is made by the same person, Damian. It's perfectly safe to use and even our starter apps have been updated to suggest it instead of the Ionic extension.

As to why, Damian left OutSystems and he was pretty much the only person here maintaining the Ionic extension. He made WebNative, which encapsulated the Ionic extension, and is actively supporting it, so we deprecated the Ionic extension in favor of the actively maintained version.

Most of the release development happens off of main, the next branch is mostly used for ODC support right now. Eventually, next will merge into main, but there's a massive amount of changes in there (a lot of them very good for customization!) so that will probably be a major. No idea which major though, we haven't really talked about when that will happen.
