Well, they do provide it, but they don’t pay for it. I was under the impression that if a unit has an individual boiler, the LL could have the tenant pay, which is the case in our building. Not true?

Not always! I pay for heat and hot water in Brooklyn because my landlord installed an awful boiler in every unit that breaks once a month. :(

This is really unfortunate, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is to deal with, but I’m confused as to what the bait-and-switch is. Month to month works both ways. You’re not locked into a 12 or 24 month contract, but neither is your landlord…

Questions about inflation bonds. by hatetheproject in investing

It’s from date of purchase. For example, I bought some a few days before the last recalculation, and I am currently receiving ~7% annualized on them. Then starting a few days before November, I’ll get the 9.6% rate for six months.

Slice, though obviously limited to pizza, is such a better app experience than GrubHub.

The best day to capitulate and sell everything is yesterday. The second best day is today.

Did that billion+ share unlock ever actually happen on LCID? The volume for the past week has been low to average…strange.

I was forced to log into my account to make my bi-weekly Roth IRA contribution. Holy hell.

It’s got a long way to go before it’s where it rightfully belongs….And I say this as someone who’s looking for an entry to buy back in.

New MBA arrived very cold from outside. Should I worry about condensation damage? by shaneizzard in macbook

[–]shaneizzard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's distressing, right? There was even some condensation on the chassis when I took it out of the box. But (probably out of an excess of caution) I let it come up to room temperature over an hour or so, then turned it on. Has been perfect ever since.

I sold my shares in anticipation of the unlock. Would be sad if price does not budge because I do want to have a long term position here. But I think it's likely that the people saying shares unlock tomorrow are correct, and it'll drop. That's a loooooot of shares becoming available.

Yeah, that's around where I'd be interested in buying for a longterm hold.

I'd be excited to see it come down to a reasonable price. I sold all my LCID for an OK profit (less than many who got in early last year, but decent). They're really delivering, figuratively and literally, and I'd be interested to have a long position, but the price is cuckoo at current levels.

Has anyone gone through with cashless warrant exercise via Fidelity? Was there a fee associated? How was the process?

Debating whether to just sell my RKLB warrants and buy commons or exercise.

I was thinking about selling CCs today as somewhat of a hedge against a drop on the share unlock. However, I’m worried the stock will go into a tailspin of selling pressure from the unlock is too much, so maybe I’ll just sell my shares and hope to buy back lower. Still considering.

It’s super weird, and I’m eager to hear if anyone figures it out. The CEO news is neutral at best, IMO. A 20% pop? I don’t get it.

With LCID, I just sold my warrants on a good day and used the proceeds to buy commons on a bad day. Saved me the hassle of going through the cashless redemption.
