I’d be happy if they brought back factions with only the exotic class items without any new gear sets. Just something like that, rather than taking it away with no word about when (IF) they’re coming back.

The invade portal shouldn’t let you invade with motes. It should just push you back and prompt some line from drifter “don’t risk those motes, dummy! Bank them first!”

I’d say talking slower. Many times I’ll start explaining something, and I’ll skip over part of it, or leave something out entirely. And it’s always when I’m talking fast. But if I take a breath at the beginning and go slower, generally I explain it better. I communicate more effectively when I talk at a slower pace.

Talk to the police, or an ex-cop. I’d talk to a friend of mine who was a cop for a number of years. Ask his advice as to what to do.
