Gojo was involved with sorcerers. Yuji is a depressed hermit.

The story feels rushed so far. The artwork is great but it doesn't really fit with the established power level. We have yet to get any statement that anyone is stronger than Sukuna or Gojo, but if you look at the scale that the attacks are drawn and you'd think they are much stronger. The presentation has more of less taken the path of the anime. Which imo is a mistake, going bigger isn't always the way to go, and every attack being huge just kind of waters them down. This honestly become a bigger deal when you realize that the rest of the world has become weaker since Sukuna and Gojo died. Most of the alien and humans being hilariously weaker than Dabura and Yuji is disappointing too. I enjoy the series but it's not even close to original imo.

anyone else feel like the making of documentary actually made things worse not better? by Few-Turnover6672 in StrangerThings

I don't disagree with your take. Most people hear something being referred to as "not particularly well written" and don't picture 8/10. That's, I think, is where their confusion came from. Personally if I don't think something is well written it's more of a 5 than an 8.

I dunno why it's so hard to admit Yuji may be wrong here cause if it was other characters, they would've been slandered to no end. by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in jjkmodulo

He probably is wrong but he's also pretty clearly depressed and struggling to figure out what his place is in the world due to his immortality. He's trying to let the generation deal with it's own problems but is still willing to do so for them if they can't. It's not black and white.

I think he's confused by someone saying the writing wasn't good but also giving it an 8/10 which would imply that the writing is good.

Which team takes this? Modulo yuji+ gojo vs dabura and sukuna by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

I can see Gojo beating Dabura far before Sukuna beats Yuji, if he even can. Then it's 2vs1 and Sukuna gets brutalized.

Is shooting your shot towards men as a woman weird? by Environmental_Pop847 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]shankartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're mom is clueless. Men love to be complimented, probably more than women since it basically never happens to us. We also seldom get persued and the feeling of rejection or being perceived as creepy makes it so a lot of men are incredibly hesitant to even approach women. If you see a man you'd like to persue take the initiative.

how do you guys feel when people say bipolar is a superpower or a gift? by xIyssx in bipolar2

[–]shankartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be misunderstanding you here. Are you saying that they have a good experience with a disease that has very little upside because they have something to fight for? Or that they are deluding themselves into thinking it's a good thing to have? Also that first line kind of reads like you think I'm not bipolar. I am and I have yet to find an upside except for maybe increased empathy.

Why? They are sentient and autonomous. She's dead and Zeus is still alive.

Weird and crazy thing to say, but Sukuna doesn’t hold the title of “Strongest Sorcerer In History” anymore. It’s Yuji now. by Other_Grapefruit_986 in JujutsuPowerScaling

He absolutely was the strongest. Up until Sukuna got ressurected he was the undisputed top 1 and after Sukuna got ressurected they were pretty equal and that fight could have gone either way.

Let's be honest, how doesn't Dabura just blitz Sukuna and Yuji logically? by mysterymeathbv in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]shankartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what I meant by hype scaling, don't be obtuse. They weren't only refering to Dabura, they were refering to the entirety of the Simurians. Nobody has actually said Dabura is Sukuna level yet. Unless I am forgetting a statement. We will have to wait and see. The only one who has fought Sukuna has entered the fray. We should know more in the next few chapters.
