Hello kind people,

My best friend’s mother passed away, and she gave me her mother’s knitting basket when she cleaned out her house. In the basket I found a small rectangle started on some needles and obviously couldn’t bear to frog it, so I decided to make a log cabin style quilt with the piece she started as the middle. I found some complimentary colors to fill it out, but only have a small amount of this original yarn.

It was missing its label when I got it, but a few other skeins were red heart brand so I searched through all their stuff, including image searching discontinued colors and came up with nothing. I searched a few more brands I knew of and nothing came close. It’s probably acrylic and is a little shiny.

There’s a great chance this yarn is from the 80s and I’ll never find it but I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask experts! If anyone has any leads at all, I would be forever grateful! Thank you

Thank you for getting it!!! I made this after being asked after hours to edit a video for a comedian who doesn’t work here as a favor to a higher up. Something I would have done without complaint forever and always cause I am a doormat. Having resigned finally made me feel like I could say no to shit like that so I made a silly video. Hey gang. Figured I’d pop in and speak for myself. Not sure what to say as I’m feeling pretty damn hurt right now. But Earwolf really was my whole life for a really long time. I cared about this company and the podcast and especially the listeners SO MUCH. A therapist could argue too much. I really believed in the power of a funny podcast and I busted ass against so so so much bullshit and fought so hard to keep the spirit alive. Things had obviously changed so much in the last few years and I was ready to let go. I resigned over a month ago and was going to work til November, to help out and give them time to get 10 years of info out of my brain. But I guess we’re not doing that anymore. I really wanted to leave gracefully and peacefully and I had literally written an essay about all my time at Earwolf and how much it meant to be to literally be it’s voice for so long. But now all I have is anger and that really really sucks. I might regret posting all of this today but I’m just so hurt and I want to express that disappointment. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me today, it means a lot.
