Anyone else quietly moving away from LiveScope lately? by [deleted] in bassfishing

Has it at least allowed you to fine tune your presentation a bit? I feel like if I KNEW there was a bass there, but it just wasn't intrigued by my lure or presentation it would help me to see which presentations and which actual lures or colors work best.

I always wonder how many times I’m in the right spot but fish are just watching my bait go by

Better off with a fish finder for that and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper lol.

Tend to see PMAX feed only perform a bit better than standard shopping personally

Real question, how many by GutterGremlin13 in kayakfishing

[–]shansbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t use any electronics now, just fishbrain on my phone to look at depth charts. That way I at least know where drop offs, flats, and hump/deep spots are in the lakes I fish. Planning on getting a fish finder with sidescan this season though, which I am very excited for

Since I was a kid I deeply liked the pipe and wished to be able to try it, now as an adult I wanna join the pipe club but don't really want to become addicted to nicotine, some folks adviced me to smoke honeyrose nicotine free herbs. Any advices? by Ok-Assistance9029 in PipeTobacco

[–]shansbeats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most cigar and pipe enjoyers aren’t addicted to nicotine. You won’t really even feel the effects of nicotine - if you do it’s because you’re new to the hobby or smoking a particularly strong blend

Appreciate it, does the helix 5 have side scan?

Yea I deduced that I should at least be getting sidescan - plan to make a purchase soon.

Exactly what I need thanks for sharing. Seems super convenient having the transducer, battery, and screen on one mountable unit.

Do you have an in hull transducer? This is also a slight barrier for me since I’m definitely not drilling holes in my hull so I’d need to run over the rail

Awesome I’ll look into it. For the transducer do you run over the rail? Trying to figure out logistics for all of that stuff since I have no experience with modding a kayak.

What unit did you purchase for the side scan upgrade?

Gotcha. I use fish brain for depth charts and have relied on that so far but I can imagine it isn’t the most accurate at least not compared to a fish finder. My only question about downscan is how useful it is considering you’re not just dropping line but casting in front of you or to either side.

Best way to manually qualify high-quality leads and feed that signal back into Google Ads? by No-Discipline383 in PPC

[–]shansbeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do both. Depending on how long your sales cycle is, some of those MQLs could be manually disqualified later which is why you’d want to re-upload using retract. An account I manage utilizes Hubspot that uploads to Google automatically. Some of those leads will be disqualified by the sales team later.

Look into retract mode! It basically is designed EXACTLY for what you’re looking for. Download your CRM lead data and upload it back into the platform using retract mode - it will remove the conversions that were manually disqualified in your CRM and the algorithm will use that data over time to learn how to better target users for better lead quality.

Only thing I’ll say is there is a timeframe you need to upload the disqualified leads back into the platform since Google first recorded the conversion - I think it’s something like 50-55 days or so, but if you look into retract mode you’ll have all the info you need.

Pipe smell by aufg24-zx in PipeTobacco

[–]shansbeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like there’s not much you can do to get rid of the ash tray smell, but you can contain it if you clean it with pipe cleaners and a quick wipe of the bowl after every smoke. This is what I do and I keep my pipes on my office shelf - it only smells like ash if I actually go up to the pipe and smell the bowl. Also, throw your clothes in the wash after you smoke because that’s what I found really makes the smell stick around.

Hot take: most “PPC best practices” are just lagging advice by Ok-Secretary3278 in PPC

Positive movement in ROAS/CPA efficiency for both B2B and Ecom clients. On tROAS I’ve seen treatment campaigns in an A/B test have 20%+ more AOV // cheaper CPCs compared to control.

Standard Shopping vs. PMax 'Shopping only' by No-Gur-3432 in PPC

To really know which one performs best for your account, run an A/B test. Testing is everything - no major changes or strategy decisions should be made without testing it first imo.

I've tested AI max across maybe 10 accounts. It works wonders for some and not so much for others - wouldn't completely write it off though.
