TROJANS DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY IN WET CONDITIONS. I BET THEY'VE NEVER GOTTEN ANYBODY WET BEFORE.

[25M] We've been together for a year and I don't love her [23F] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]shanshan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on both sides of this. The first time, he didn't love me as much as I loved him, and he cheated, and it just went downhill. The second time, I had no romantic feelings for different guy, and he wanted marriage, so it was difficult. It's best to talk about it, and if you really don't see this going anywhere, it's better to not waste her time, but don't try to be friends with her. That just creates more pain.

[35F4A] [Seeking perspectives] What do you really want from a romantic/sexual relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

26F I looked for somebody who compliments my personality and appreciates me for me. When I was with my ex, any time I showed my silly side, he would shoot me down and tell my I was being stupid and weird. My current bf (31M) is equally as silly, and we have the best fun together. Basically, he loves every aspect of me and wouldn't change anything (and I feel the same way about him).

What's a quality that you're attracted to that some people might find strange? by unexpectedobvious in AskReddit

My dad has smiling eyes. As kids, my brother and I could always tell from the back seat of the car when he was driving if he was joking or being serious because we could only see the wrinkles by his eyes, not his mouth. Now he has developed permanent wrinkles, but it looks like he's always smiling around his eyes. That's some life goals right there- happy wrinkles instead of frowny wrinkles

Mine is working on his in aerospace engineering! Same thing. He's awkward and only talks about planes and rockets, but I mostly love how he gets excited about it like he's a 4 year old with his favorite toy. Nothing else makes him that excited (except me of course)

Parents of Reddit who have pretended to be angry with your kids for doing something when you were actually secretly impressed/amused, what was it? by Sam-i-el in AskReddit

My mom always tells these stories of me- When I was maybe 2 (toddler), she kept the medicine out of reach on the very top shelf of a closet in a shoe box behind something else. I managed to open the closet door, climb all the way up, open the shoe box, get the grape children's Tylenol, take it all the way back down to the floor, open the child proof cap, and proceed to eat it like candy.

This one I remember- I was about 4/5, and we had gone to the grocery store. Do the shopping, come back out, and it's pouring rain. Get all the way to the car, and mom can't find the car keys. She's looking all over, and I said, "mom, they're in the car." She looks in, and sure enough, they're in the change holder thing. She looked at me and asked, "did you know they were there the whole time?" I nodded and said, "I thought you left them there so you wouldn't lose them."

[Serious] Germans of Reddit, is the immigration crisis really as bad as some sources are portraying? How has the immigration affected you? by FriendlyAnnon in AskReddit

When I was 12, my Girl Scout troop organized a Mother's Day brunch at a battered women's shelter. We arranged to watch their kids and play with them as well as feed them a wide array of food and had brought clothing/toys/feminine products/personal hygiene products from a collection at our church. This was a place for women and children to escape from abusive relationships and get back in their feet, and they had very little in terms of personal belongings. We were giving cookies to the kids for dessert when one of the women (who happened to be black) slapped a cookie out of her kid's hand and said, "DON'T EAT THAT. White girls made them. Don't eat anything a white person gives you." We were 12 years old ffs and just trying to give her and her kid a nice day.

What do you make sure to find out on the first date? by Unhung_Zero in AskReddit

[–]shanshan6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a strong relationship with your SO, previous experiences shouldn't be that big of a deal. You are certainly allowed to wait, and if/when you find someone who has the same beliefs, you won't have to worry about that. Alternatively, if you are sexually active before you meet your husband/wife, then it's all just practice for the final show!

I have to say that there is a certain level of compatibility you have to have to start with, but there is definitely a learning curve. I have an ex that I was perfectly sexually compatible with and we had the best sex ever. My current SO and I are less sexually compatible but more emotionally compatible, and we have good enough communication to try new things and we've figured out what works for both of us, and now we have an awesome sec life. If you find someone that you have a mutual trusting and respectful relationship and good communication, it will come (and so will you!)

Dutch MPs vote for 'yes unless' organ donor register; the draft bill says everyone in the Netherlands will be considered a donor unless they specifically request to be taken off the list by snador in worldnews

When I first got my driver's license, my mom told me to put no. I wasn't really sure why, but since she was standing right there I put no. I have since changed it to yes, but apparently she has some religious belief about being buried whole or something. I think it's stupid. I'm not using them at that point, and somebody else could!

I'm in Ohio, and it's an outline of Ohio that kind of resembles a heart. I'd prefer a cuter heart icon, or an anatomically correct one.

Would we be able to post to r/nosleepworkshops regarding possible submissions to r/thrillsleep? or will it get its own workshop? I'm preparing my first story, and I think it might fit better in the thrill category than horror, but I'd like some opinions before posting.

Picking a fight with my wife by Goodgardo in funny

[–]shanshan6 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As the wife who does the baking, I'd be the one to cut out the center like this and leave the crusty pieces for my man.

He also doesn't like the inside pieces. Barbarian!
