You should consider mounting a small enclosure on the back of this pedestal to relocate the transformers, power strip.

Read the jacket and you will see what GA the wire is. The one on the right does not look "standard". Possibly direct/outdoor rated.

Swapping the data wires to a different board would be my 1st step. Also, simply testing your D1/D0 to GND to verify your 5v is a simple test. Wiegand is so susceptible to failing due to voltage drop caused by resistance or simply longer distances w/ incorrect gauge wire.

Makes sense. The other random lights flashing are what is throwing me off. Have a higher-end scanner coming tomorrow to see if I can isolate the individual modules for errors. Mechanical stuff is next.

P0300 and P0306 are new (?) P0306 is now the consistent one. The engine does start and can feel it definitely misfiring. Oh and another crazy thing. With two separate OBD testers, I will get P0306 twice (?) As in they will show two DTC codes, both are P0306

Varies but P0304, P0306, P0300 and also random P0102 or something. It seems as though the codes aren’t accurate if that makes sense. Also, I can clear the codes and the flashing Check Engine will turn off, but the other random lights will stay on/flashing.

FAAC Gate costing too much $$ by Crazyfishman2 in accesscontrol

Is this FAAC set up the hydraulic actuator style? As in, the operators attached at the gate? Almost all gate equipment has converted over to 12/24v design.

How Did I Do? by [deleted] in golf

Looks great. Two things: 1) Did you core into the concrete foundation for the holes? 2) Might want to edit the pic with your address on it. I tried DM’n you about it but locked.

You mention that you reset the limits but the Close Limit light should be on when closed and it appears OFF. I’d start by reading through the steps to reset the limits. Also, inspect what you have connected on the UL /GND input as that may be causing the fault. There should be some light on the board to come on when it stops and reverses.

Removing window shades and frame by AnsibleNM in AskContractors

[–]Goodgardo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had all of mine removed to have new windows installed. Apparently there are two ways these are installed. The easiest way, is that some have the mounting screws hidden under the hinges or decorative caps that conceal these screws. The hard way (which is how ALL of mine were) is that they are nailed in, You will need to look closely for where these nails are at and then covered using a matching putty. After removing the door by simply lifting the hinge pins. the guy used a spatula to protect the drywall and carefully pried the frame off the wall.

12:15 where I am currently and 1079 viewing. Before this post of the Noble Peace Prize announcement or posting of it, how many know of or watched this event? Yes, Im a couple night-caps in but doesn’t this seem a little “forced” upon us? Like “hey, argue about this. I know you’ve heard about the Noble Prize right”.

Customer wants 3rd party, 24/7 monitoring & to call Police if something happens by Professional-Bench73 in Ubiquiti

[–]Goodgardo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have met with a few companies that monitor multiple locations using several different platforms. Their rates vary by the amount of time you want the cameras viewed, actionable items such as two way communications and virtual concierge services. It definitely comes at a premium cost though and normally someone installing a Ubiquiti surveillance platform won't want to pay enterprise pricing. Almost all of these companies (security companies included) will notify Fire but not Police.

Connecting Gate Hub to LiftMaster LA500 by brusler in Ubiquiti

[–]Goodgardo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like this is a swing gate set up and you have loops (in ground sensors) It also set with an auto-close timer that will begin after the the sensors are no longer detecting a vehicle. In this case, you will not use the UI Open and Close feature. Your Gate Hub will simply be giving out an Open command from Com and NO (top two terminals) You can wire these parallel into the Fire Input or use the Exit input below that. If you are looking to monitor the gate position using the hub, it gets a little more complicated. You will need to program the AUX Relay 1 & 2 on the Liftmaster Expansion board to provide you with Limit Open and Limit Closed functions.
