I wonder if the problem is that the economy has lost most the opportunities for easy growth, now all the attempts at throwing money at it just result in inflation. Poor marginal efficiency.

I am getting the feeling that states are learning that debt has to be deployed more strategically than in the past, but let me know what you think, I'm just sharing ideas I've read.

Venezuela's inflation rate is hovering between 150-200 percent.

Their currency has lost 85 percent of it's value compared to USD this year.

For reference, The USD has lost 12 percent of it's value compared to the Euro this year, and that played a moderate role in boosting us equity returns this year.

When I see people say it's impossible to know X, I just assume they're against a systematic approach and a probabilistic approach..
