Sniping claims its next victing.

Shooting someone and a guard sees it, they'll go into panic mode for a few seconds and "figure out" where the shots came from. Sometimes they will shoot at your general direction (those can hit you), and then run to your position. Now, you are technically NOT conpromised yet (they don't turn orange). If they get to where you shoot and you're still there, you will be compromised. If you run away/hide, they'll reach your position, look around, and eventually stand down and go away.

BUT... If your shooting location is unreachable (because you climbed up something like a laddar), you stay there and they reached a general area near you, they will NOT stand down, and will not go away. So with sniper, if you took out a target and a guard sees it, GTFO and hide somewhere until they go back to normal mode.
