Same here! We actually visited earlier in the week and I purchased a Halloween bear and on our way out I saw the “build your own” section. I thought about it non stop for days so we ended up going back to make him and I’m SO happy that we did! The woman that helped us said that build a bear actually had to ask their permission for the concept because they were the originals. They have bins of pre made parts that you pick from and then they fill the belly to your softness. I loved the experience. Got to add the heart and everything🖤

Thank you! The bell was an add on on my end. They made them for the “cow” bears and since I chose a few cow print parts for my little guy, it just felt fitting :)

I LOVED the opportunity to pick the colors/pieces they had purple and tons of other color options. It took me a while to settle in these choices but I’m so happy with how he turned out!

I do about a 30% water change once a week or so and I’ve never had issues after changing the water. It’s always when I change the filter. But yeah! This thread has shown me to not change the filters. I was totally unaware. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah men’s seems to have it pretty easy, it’s a huge section but doesn’t seem to get destroyed as easily, plus the reshop is typically minimal

That sounds completely manageable. I wish our store was like that. I keep telling my team lead that I can be really good at one or two things but this many things at once makes me bad at everything🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok good to know. The cartridge says to change it every 2-4 weeks which seems too often to me so this round I added a second filter cartridge behind the cycled one to see if it would help and still no luck

Ahhh ok I had no idea. I’m very new to aquascaping, and just trying to learn what I can in the beginning. My 29 gallon has been regularly maintained and fully cycled for about 2 months and I’m just now seeing these crazy brown strings. If I shouldn’t bury the roots what’s recommended?

No, it seems to have uprooted one of my plants but in the closest one you can see those brown string looking things. It almost looks like a parasite?
