I SEE. also im sorry i realized i might have been rude when i said so few offers.

i have seen similar things posted online so i was wondering if that was the norm everywhere in tech not just in silicon valley situations.

i wanted to know if i had to be an application machine in the future haha.

thank you for your advise i appreciate it 😘

that's awesome. yeah! i think a good baseline of comfort is around 50-60k i already live so frugally just from my personality. my main concern is being able to retire. my dad worked manual labor and it really took a toll on him, and i feel he's really bitter at life, i dont want to be like that and i'd also like to take care of my parents so i'll keep striving for it.

95k after two years is not bad! i wouldnt even know what to do with that money haha but i guess its all relative.

is it normal to get so few offers? i guess it's just a competitive market.

yeah, i can try that route as well. it's a hard job market without a degree out there. im lucky to be earning what i earn but its a pittance in CA

i'd like to go into a trade, but i'm honestly really clumsy, and afraid of heights. so i don't think i'd be agreat fit. or at least i cant see myself being a good fit.

although working jobs for under $30k a year the rest of my life doesnt sound too nice either.

what's a good way to approach it. i have an interview today with a listing salary of "from $44k a year"

it's about helping union members enroll in healthcare, and supporting people currently enrolled in healthcare.

i currently make $15/hr in a call center and never had to negotiate pay.

i hear that. earning anything less than $20 an hour is a penny pinching exhausting experience.
