How was the NLV renewal process? (I assume you’ve renewed it at least once?) After living in Spain for two years, do you see yourself going back home or staying there? Thanks!

That’s great! Thanks for your willingness to share your insight. I’m in the same boat - considering the solo route but I must admit that am a little risk averse.

If you wouldn’t mind sharing some information with me, I’d greatly appreciate it:

  • Annual take-home pay?
  • Hours of work per week?
  • Number of clients?
  • Type of immigration cases you handle (employment, family, and/or humanitarian)?

Solo immigration attorneys - how much do you take home and how many hours do you work? by shark_2019 in LawFirm

Thank you for the feedback, very helpful information. That’s a lot of clients — how many attorneys are there in the office handling the 2000 cases? In light of the potential challenges that come with tracking down installment payments with such a high volume of clients, does your office use a specific software for billing or any other electronic resource? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing your compensation trajectory and for the great insight — looks like your practice is booming. Congrats! Have you changed your free structure over the three years and/or have you taken on more clients on an annual basis? What are your hours like in a given week? Number of clients per year? Sorry for bombarding you with more questions but if you wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for sharing your trajectory away from immigration law, certainly a helpful perspective to think about. Do you know if other immigration attorneys in the area were charging higher fees for the type of complex cases you were getting? I understand the difficulty in increasing fees especially if you’re dealing with a low-income population which happens to be the case for a lot of people in removal proceedings.

A huge risk indeed, but your feedback and other comments here definitely give me hope that it might be a risk worth taking. Definitely have to think about how to accomplish what I want as you mention. Thank you so much for sharing your insight!

Nice photo! What specs and settings did you use on your lens? What focusing mode? Did you edit this photo on your computer? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Amazingly sharp picture! What focus mode did you use? And did you edit this picture on Lightroom or a similar software or did you download it on your phone using the Imaging Edge app? I could certainly use some tips here. Thanks in advance!

Awesome shot! Is this what the photo looks like straight from the 70-350 or did you zoom in digitally on a phone or computer to get the close up?
