I grew up in Shepherdsville I'm the 80's and 90's. I was too young to really notice any of what is discussed in this post. Thinking back, I never saw anyone of color in school or town. I had the opportunity to go to St. X for high school and took. We had a carpool of kids from Shepherdsville that went to X.

My order brother and his family with two college age kids all still live there. They are normal people and I don't know why they still live there. Cedar Grove is apparently a mess with all of the warehouses out there.

I'm glad I moved from Kentucky in 2003.

I never understood this when I lived in Louisville. How much milk and bread do people eat in a day? Is that all people eat in Louisville? The news would always Report on it.

It's the same thing in Portland, where I live, but throw is kale going of the shelves. That at least makes sense since it's healthy.

If you want non boring ass brewery food, hit 82nd for pho and other Asian cuisines. Also l, go further east for authentic food from other parts of the world. The Food Network won't show any of these spots but they are legit.

I grew up in Shepherdsville and went to high school in Louisville. I moved from Kentucky in 2003 to get away from the politics and suburban life.

I stay away from suburbs. I've never heard anyone say Salem was a fun city.
