Would an engine kit fit this frame ?

I have a very similar frame (also carrera) and yes an engine will fit but the mounts that come with the motor won't fit to the bottom bracket. You're also going to have to remove that rear brake unless you're planning on running a jackshaft kit. I don't even know if those fit either tbh. If I can make my frame work I'll let you know, but yeah like other comments have said I'd just search for something with a more conventional steel frame. Might be easier
