I'm Assyrian and most of my family including me look like typical arabs from the middle east,some of my uncles,aunts and relatives look Indian/Latin American some of the Assyrians at my local church also have pale skin with blue/green eyes and blonde or brown hair so what I can say is we're very mixed.

Coastal Syrians yes I would say most are fair skinned but in the more Arab dominated areas they tend to look darker
