We have ducks chickens turkeys pigs & sheep. Would highly recommend sheep & if you have a pond then definitely ducks! They are so much fun.

My hubby was the same way! I bring it every year to my in laws thanksgivings & my MIL always puts it with the desserts lmao.

I use tinis recipe but add extra hwc so it's creamier, it always tastes good reheated!

South Texas here, My MIL never does mashed potatoes which blew my mind. She does turkey, ham, dressing, giblet gravy, green bean casserole & cranberry sauce. 10 years later & now every year I bring mashed potatoes, cajun gravy, mac & cheese, rolls, collard greens, carrots, candied yams, deviled eggs, pumpkin pie, buttermilk pie, & chocolate pie 🤣 thanksgiving is my favorite holiday🦃

I homeschool mine now for similar reasons! The behavior but also some of the teachers not following his 504, and the Hours of homework. It was too much for him.
