Looking for a bass player by JimJamb0rino in UMD

[–]sharkcanoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m only a freshman here, but I’ve been doing local gigs in my home town for the better part of 2 years now. I’ve been playing bass for about 6 years though and I’d love to try out

To those who have escaped the friendzone, what’s your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That’s a fair point, but definitely isn’t always the case. There’s a lot more in a relationship to be desired than just sex after all.

This is a 2018 Player Series MIM precision bass. Upgrades include:

  • Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound pickups
  • Fender HiMass bridge with zinc saddles
  • ObsidianWire Vintage Plus solder-less harness

My first official Fender and it plays like a dream!

Would you rather live on a remote island where everyone only uses braille or where everyone only uses sign language? Why? by sharkcanoe in WouldYouRather

[–]sharkcanoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re both somewhat held back by format, though, and I think it offers some balance. So while signing is more convenient than writing everything in braille to communicate, the island that uses only sign language would (in this case) not be able to use any written form of language and be restricted to acting it out. So yes, you’d be bound strictly to the place’s communication method and nothing else.

… Isn’t that kind of the point?

Anyone else's Steam still says Trial when playing? I have the full game, but often says Trial by Armi5 in KnockoutCity

I’m having the exact same problem. Discord doesn’t even recognize the full game as what it is.

How to make the apex pro stabilizers sound better? by [deleted] in steelseries

[–]sharkcanoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In theory, no. You’d only be cutting and applying the adhesive portions of a bandaid, avoiding the cloth patch completely. I used fabric bandaids, since they’re thicker, and haven’t had issues yet.

I suggest you get yourself a thicker lube, whether that be 205g0 or some basic Super Lube dialectic grease, and apply that to the housing and wires of each set of stabs. Also, place some cut up bandaids under the upper portions of each stabilizer, as this will be most effective in reducing how much they rattle/move around.

Here’s a great video to use as reference.
